My bet will be on Spurs when and if.

I want it to end against the Bobcats on Sunday just that it looks funny that the 2nd longest winning streak in the NBA will be ended by the Bobcats.

It's like pushing the big red button with the "Do Not Push" sign next to it. There's just no resisting it.

Kudos to Andrew. You came so close. 27 deficit close.

Well, so long as the universe is working in mysterious ways, watch them smash Detroit. For good measure, I've picked them to win in the daily predictions thread.

I don't think it's possible to jinx them in this one.
Sat Mar 23, 2013 8:36 pm
They've trailed by 17, 27 and 11 in the last three games, I wouldn't be surprised if the streak ended soon, even their next game against the Bobcats.

If you watch football, you'll see that ManU has a seem process.

The Bulls are gonna be a tough challenge. Noah's the best defensive stopper in the game and Luol's not an easy defender for LeBawn. Not sure if Dwyane's gonna suit up tonight but I hope he does and be at near 100%. Gonna be a fabulous game.
Thu Mar 28, 2013 8:57 am
Wade in, Noah and Rose out.
Thu Mar 28, 2013 3:54 pm
Well, not too surprised with the loss but it sucked nonetheless. I mean how many times during the streak, we had to dig out of 10+ deficit and be on fire in fourth, even against crap teams. The Bulls play extremely hard each and every night and was a dangerous team coming into tonight's game regardless who was sitting out. Their bench are still very respectable and could go huge if given chance. They just showed it tonight against the Heat that they could beat us as a team on any given night if we don't bring A game.
Part of me is sorta glad that streak finally ended. Everyone was caught up in it and keeping this streak alive seemed to be everyone's priority. Now, the Heat need to prepare for the playoffs and experiment making adjustment because the Heat actually weren't playing that good in recent weeks despite the winnings.
Thu Mar 28, 2013 4:56 pm
It was a tremendous game. If a streak has to end, you want it to be in a competitive, "Playoff atmosphere" type of game like that. I can't pretend I'm unhappy with the result, it's a feather in the Bulls' cap during what has been a tough season for them, but the fact remains that the Heat won 27 games in a row, over a quarter of a regular season without a loss. An incredible run by them.

Another choke job by LeBron.
When faced with history of matching or surpassing the win streak record he realized the pressure of it all and buckled.
A championship won't change or hide his choking nature. Wade wasn't 100% so he wasn't able to lift LeBron's choking ass this time to keep the streak alive.
Thu Mar 28, 2013 9:01 pm
They only needed six games. And yet LeBron couldn't do it.
Six games. The El Magic have three times that many.
The Pistons have been without the GOAT and they have four times.
What a joke. Jordan would have never blown something like this.
Is it even fair to mention that Kobe had NINE 40 point games in a row?
Thu Mar 28, 2013 9:04 pm
I wanna be alone please.
Thu Mar 28, 2013 9:11 pm
Heat fans recognizing that their mercenary squad will never matter legitimately as long as the ultimate traitor LeBron is in charge. Kareem never won a legit title after forcing his way out of a team, Shaq never did. Add LeBron to the pile.
You're drafted by a team you should stay there, and your kids should be bound as well. And their kids. Only way to be a legitimate champion. To run away to where you want to is to betray the proper owner of a player.
Thu Mar 28, 2013 9:19 pm
Well.
Screw u too buddy. I refuse to be let down despite your effort to hate on our greatness. I still feel happy about our streak. It was sweet. Sweet jesus christly. Was all worth it. This loss was just a sting, nothing more. Was alllll worth it I tell ya.
Thu Mar 28, 2013 9:22 pm
You fell six games short. Why would you be proud of failure?
Get back to me when the Heat are a legitimate basketball team.
Thu Mar 28, 2013 11:25 pm
Wow, the haters are really on a "bitch please" mode. Meh, I don't blame them. Been waiting SO LONG for a moment like this. And coming up with shit. So, get in the moment, bitch away without logic just for the sake of it. If you question the greatness of Heat or LeBron, you are by far away from the 101 of balling. As for Jordan, I don't remember him being on the 71-72 Lakers team.
So, what? There is always next year. And the Heat & Bron showed that they are by far the best of this time. And when the 4th MVP and the finals will be returning home, I guess that's when the bitching will be done....for a while though. Just like last season, 'cause them haters are always lurking around just for a moment.
The streak didn't become our religion, it was fun while it lasted. Nothing more than a streak, just a funstop on our way to the championship.
Fri Mar 29, 2013 12:58 am
Jordan didn't choke when faced with history, he carried his team to the best regular season record in NBA history.
Kobe didn't need some silly regular season win streak, his 2001 Lakers have the best post-season winning percentage in NBA history.
Just face it, LeBron chokes in important moments.
Fri Mar 29, 2013 2:18 am
Yes, choking gets you 4 MVPs. D-League should have "choking sessions" then.
Fri Mar 29, 2013 3:20 am
MVP voting is dictated by the media. LeBron could just smile at media members and they'll give him the MVP trophy. An award given by the media doesn't change the fact that he's a choker and shrinks during crucial moments.
Fri Mar 29, 2013 4:04 am
You are really a delight man. And you just made my day with that crack.
LeBron gets the MVP award because of the media, not his performance lmfao --> crucial nominee to joke of the year award.I don't know if you people were haters before "The Decision" or after, anyway you guys should really live up to this current moment, 'cause I don't see you talking again in the future. MVP, Playoffs, Finals...
