I was watching the game and Walt Frazier was talking about how Curry's rebounding performance was impressive and that hes really improved, had it not been vs the Grizzlies, or if hes been doing it for more than just the season opener then I could understand. How about last nights stellar 2 rebounds? lmao

You can't take anything the Knick announcers say seriously anymore. They're under orders from Dolan & Isiah not be critical of the team. That's the atmosphere around MSG nowadays - it's why Marv Albert's no longer doing games. He was the only one who had the balls to tell it like it is.

Knicks have lost two straight, soon to be three when they faced Duncan & Co. I'm loving it! If you really care about this team, you want them to lose as much as possible. Every loss is a nail in Zeke's coffin.

Jeffx you evil  even got the right post count (ie. 666) to go with your attitude.

But what if the Knicks do win, would you give Thomas another chance next season?

Sun Nov 05, 2006 2:52 pm

I can't even watch them now.

After what they did to Larry and how Isiah is, I just don't care if they win.

We win by losing right now if it ends up with Isiah being fired.

Larry Brown was a scapegoat... Thomas didn't do a good job as GM. You would think he would assemble the best possible roster for the current coach to work with. That being said, everything's in the past... perhaps Thomas can still be kicked out even if the Knicks do semi-decent this year?

Well I do remember Clyde getting in trouble for saying something about Marbury, and almost getting fired. But anyway, hes an idiot but a loveable idiot along with Bill Walton lmao. I do remember them saying tonight though, Dolans looking for "progress", and didn't mention how many games progress is. So he Isiah might be able to stay as long as he kisses Dolans ass, which I could see happening. We just have to riot. www.selltheknicks.com

Like many Knick fans, I was enthusiastic when Isiah was hired. He conned us with that phony-ass smile and his line about "wanting to change the culture of the Knicks". Then he turns around and does the same sh!t Knicks management has done for the past 33 years. The team was a mess when he got here, but he made it worse. The Eddy Curry deal was the straw that broke the camel's back(for me). A smart owner would have fired him for that idiotic move.

This franchise is as low as it can get. Stop Isiah now!

What was with Eddie Curry's quote about how the Pacers have been together a long time? We have 9 new players.

Mon Nov 06, 2006 5:06 pm

you'll have to forgive Curry....he's not that bright.

I see your point bro... for your sake, as long as you want it, I hope they do fire Isiah then. I can tell you that I thought maybe Thomas can turn the team around by playing a more up-tempo offence... but from an article I read, when he coached the Pacers he made Reggie play the post play after play after play... and made the team do the same play all the time. Getting Reggie to get into the post... so I guess that convinces me that he may not be the best coach around...

So waht do all the Knicks fans on NLSC think of Ewing?

One of top five all-time Knicks. His problem was he never played with another Hall of Famer. Jordan had Pippen, Kobe had Shaq, Magic had Kareem, Duncan had Robinson, etc. Who was Patrick's number two guy? A loser who got drunk the night before the biggest game of his life and shot the Knicks out of a championship.

Tue Nov 07, 2006 8:41 am

John Starks right?

Thu Nov 09, 2006 3:36 pm

knicks coming from behind to win...
crawford clutch..
Lee double-double off the bench..
Curry 5 fouls in 13min (also 2rebounds)..

knicks win.. not pretty, could of easily been a lost though.

Thu Nov 09, 2006 4:12 pm

aMuch respect to J. Crawford on that clutch 3 at the end. I've always been skeptical of his jumpshot but that shot was huge. Also a great play to bail himself out when he stole the ball back after his own bad pass got intercepted. Maybe this is the kick the Knicks needed to get their season going in the right direction.

Thu Nov 09, 2006 9:57 pm

What a stupid shot though lol. He had a fresh possession and jacked a contested 3 with 5 seconds left on the clock. If he had missed it we'd be shitting on him right now.

Thu Nov 09, 2006 10:50 pm

I don't think this win do anything for the Knicks as far as putting them on the right track. Last year they won on some last second shots and it didn't matter either.

As TBD said, Crawford was lucky it went in but he showcased his bad basketball IQ there. He was doing unnecessary crossovers, only to get himself trapped at the half court line. Then that bad pass, somehow got it back and shot it too early and from an almost impossible position.

D. Lee for MIP though. (Y) Maybe if he averages a double-double at the end of the season. He's been nice though.

I dunno about shitting on him, he missed about a million and two potential game winners on opening night, and didn't even hear one person mention anything about it, or shit on him. Maybe he put up the shot too early, but it was kind of out of desperation and excitement. J.R. Smith almost made my heart drop, damn that guy got hops.

Fri Nov 10, 2006 2:13 am

Granted the shot was early, at least if he missed guys would have had a chance to rebound and tip it in since a couple of the opposing guys had already ran down court looking for an easy layup.

That last game almost makes me feel like knicks basketball might want to come back someday in the future if they consistantly play well....

Even as a life time fan...it's been hard to even bother with the knicks over last few years.

Fri Nov 10, 2006 7:31 am

I haven't been posting much lately, but I have to pop in and say how much pwnage Q has been dishing out lately. He's been an amazing rebounder, shooting the lights out (which is amazing since he's usually a three point chucker) and is one of the Knicks leading scorers.

Richardson for MVP.

Fri Nov 10, 2006 9:17 am

Havent even noticed him much really. Now that you noted him I will look out for him and see whats up/

Not me...I'm not a fan of the New York Suns. You can have this brand of basketball. Like ck said, Crawford's lucky shot doesn't cover up his bad basketball IQ. I can't get into this team.

Well, after browsing the internet, listening to all you Knicks fans, and reading more articles about the Knicks... it seems that all of you share a common feeling towards the franchise and share a common dream...

Man, it's crazy what one man called Isiah can do... first he wins rings but then he comes and becomes GM and turns everyone into a hater. Well jeffx, I see your point. I'm not really with you but I will say this, 'Fire Isiah'

I wonder if David Stern will do it for you guys?

It starts at the top. Cablevision & the Dolans are the problem. Until we get a new regime that knows basketball, expect more of the same.

"Yao's Too Much for Eddy Curry"

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baske ... 5895c.html

Sun Nov 12, 2006 1:59 am

Eddy Curry is a bum....the guy just can't rebound, and the other parts of his game don't justify his on court time. David Lee on the other hand, although not a C, plays with energy, hustle and rebounds. If i was coach, i'd stick him in @ C, that kind of effort deserves PT.

Having said that, i put $10 on SAS tomorrow....go Spurs!!!
