I think this proves my point exactly.
You are forgetting a fact that he's only a rookie and a 28th pick at that, and has shown promise to develop into a decent point guard.
No, I'm not. And no, he hasn't.
He's in an elite class of rookies that includes only Junior Harrington, Adam Morrison, and Nikoloz Tskitishvili. A little fudge and we get Mateen Cleaves and Orien Greene!

Should the Heat fall tomorrow, LeBron is no doubt going to catch a lot of the flak. It would be misplaced though as he's been having a really good series, with the only real knock being that his free throw shooting is noticeably poorer than his regular season clip. The pass to Haslem in Game 4 wasn't a good play but he didn't have a good look and frankly that's on Spoelstra for not drawing up a play with a better plan B.
LeBron would have to have a very poor Game 6 and pass up every wide open shot/good look he got in the fourth to fairly cop as much blame as he'll likely get if it goes down that way and even then, it would be misguided. If the Heat lose, it will be due to the lack of a total team effort and players that can get the job done beyond LeBron and Wade; Bosh too if he plays and can give them any significant minutes.

Battier's defense isn't as good as it was before - have you watched any of the Heat games? He's horrible on 1on 1 matchups, and average at best on rotations. What makes his D look even worse is when you have a guy like Dwayne wade letting your team play 4 on 5 on D.

Battier's defense is hard to measure actually. He's been forced to defend PF too often, lol. And the Heat's defense failure comes from inside due to lack of size which isn't his fault. And he is great at getting offensive charge calls. He's ok, still a fine player. But what troubles me the most is his poor 3 point shooting as a Heat. Perhaps the system isn't working for him.

I think it's going to be Wade's time to take on blames this time if anything goes wrong in the last game. Bron has been consistent throughout the series and has been a great Robin.

Unfortunately the "Big 3" only won multiple rings in video games.

There was this headline a day ago saying if the Heat have to stay alive it's as simple as shooting free throws...well.
Tomorrow as CB put it, "biggest day in our professional careers". Sadly, as big of a Heat fan & Bron worshiper I am, unless a miracle happens, the Heat are going home...not literally speaking. Christmas is nearby for those Bron haters but I think Coach Spo is under the most pressure. Most likely, he will get fired. But all the blame can't really be put on one player or the coach. Fact is, when Miami wins a match, it's because of Bron & Wade but when they lose a match, it's because of everyone. In the past few games, the effort wasn't "low", Celtics just outdid Heat in every way possible. And the "headband awakening" that Rondo had is a blessing for them.
...it is pretty much done for, but Celtics won't win the NBA Finals, that much am certain of. It won't even be a competition.

Very well said. Properly put.

LeBron defintely not letting his team lose, but Rondo has also been scoring well.
Fri Jun 08, 2012 11:52 am
Doesn't mean anything, first three quarters don't count.
Fri Jun 08, 2012 12:48 pm
LeBron is just on beast mode right now.
Fri Jun 08, 2012 12:59 pm
Talk about an empty 45/15/5, the game wasn't over until Wade ripped things wide open to start the fourth.
LeBron just two fourth quarter baskets.

Love Robin saving the Batman. Twice in this year's playoffs. Whenever we were down in the series, Robin becomes a X-factor. Expect Wade to close out the series strongly now.

Does lebron get another MVP trophy?

Cavs fans must be having so much fun right now watching what lebron could do had he stayed.

lol, john26. It's still nothing compared to what Seattle fans are going through. Just ask Lamrock.

Someone dumped beer on LeBron as he was leaving the court:

"Best fans in sports!"

THE FACTS.
Let's see LeBron play like that in the last three minutes of a game seven down ten first before we start throwing around "clutch" and "winner"

Lol it's funny to see haters act all pathetic.
Well done by the Heat tonight to force a game 7 and get the home court back, now that's what I call 'good job, good effort'. Monstrous game by LeBron and Celtics couldn't do squat to stop him. I liked how Bosh played over 28 minutes tonight and we might see him back as a starter in game 7. Now for the Heat, it's no time to celebrate and they need to stay focused totally ignoring the fact that they will play at home and treat it as an away game. Wade also needs to be more productive right from the get-go. I am looking forward to what's gonna be an epic game 7! Go Miami!

the haters will go away once lebron cures cancer.
till then, he has to deliver on that "not 1, not 2.." promise of his

Hating in this forum is minimal though. It's more about "U MAD BRO" kinda jokes here which is all cool. And once the new season begins, we can all happily go back to hating Kobe.

Agreed. That fat mouthy Bron evidently avoided the game come to needing of clutch shots because he knew he was gonna choke like his good fella Dirk. Sadly, he'll try to dominate the game so he can avoid Clutch Situation in the biggest game of the year.

Seriously? People are still talking negative about Bron?....apparently, ignorance is more global that I had thought.
No saying that the MVP performed today, but it's not all over yet. We have to come back as this aggressive again on the closeout game. But this time, Battier shouldn't get that much minutes. Maybe put Joel Anthony on KG as a change of tactics.
LOL...can't wait to see Pierce getting fouled out again

How many rings he got?
When he loses again in the Finals that'll put him in an elite class of losers with Karl Malone. Maybe then people will stop thinking he can start for a championship team.

How many have Kobe & TD got? Where are they now?....Right, sitting at home & watching the MVP perform on their TVs. Don't really see any point of the "ring argument"
currently. To answer your question, pretty soon it's gonna be 1/3rd of the number of his MVPs

It's good to have guys like you. Only fuels our passion more.

Legacy is what really matters and Kobe has the greatest ever. Duncan meanwhile is 4-0 in Finals, so he's never choked on the largest stage.
Only five players have lost two times in the Finals without ever getting a ring, the ultimate shame for any player.
John Stockton: 0-2
Elgin Baylor: 0-8
Karl Malone: 0-3
Patrick Ewing: 0-2
LeBron James: 0-2
All losers who lost on the biggest stage, never won, and thus aren't in any sane discussion of the Top 25 All-Time players.
Just accept it, LeBron is a massive loser. Wade and the refs somehow carrying him to a title (unlikely going up against a real winner like Durant) won't fully get the tarnish off his legacy. (See what Wade did for Payton and Dirk for Kidd. Nobody considers them for the top of the pyramid because they couldn't get it done as the man.)
