I don't disagree but you know, this is where a lot of us want it both ways. We want to see serious consequences for dirty play, but then we look back on stuff like this:
...and bemoan that the league has gone soft, is too image conscious, overreacts to physical play and so on.

Wade just got a taste of his own medicine with what he did to Kobe.
And LBJ stopping his foot under Granger intentionally (yes he told me) then not getting suspended is a joke.
And Pittman only getting 3 games for the clothesline while Bynum gets 5 for the same thing on Barea is a joke.
Tell me again how the Pacers are being favored in this series.

Lol, the LBJ comment is the most ridiculous speculation I've seen for the past 3 years...
And Pittman's suspension was the right one, if I remember correctly Bynum elbowed Barea while he was airborne, which is significantly more dangerous than leveling a guy on the floor.
You're a funny guy

I thought the Lakers fans moved on from All Star incident and anyone that said Wade's foul was intentional to hurt Kobe needs brain check up.

Not that nething John said herr made that much sense anyways.
Bynum is a repeat offender. And given MWP's recent suspension, I am thinking this is about right. Perhaps more was deserved depending on how u view it. But 1 thing is fo sure that this doesnt have nething to do with favoring anyside. In fact Haslem got one as well. This favor talk is stupid as it is. The Pacers bandwagners seriously need to drop good bad tough talk as nobody rly cares. The Knicks didnt have problem nor the tops teams like Bulls, Mavs, and Celtics last season. But now this mental game evolved to something more physical and dirty just bcuz sum1 had to prove how tough they r.

Yeah, scumbag Wade just had to show he's badass. What a bitch.

Are there any Lakers fans in this thread?

Why are you getting your panties in a bunch whenever I post, I'm just repeating what benji's been posting on this thread. And it's not like Granger slapped his girlfriend around. I'm just tired of reading nothing but complaints instead of decent conversation and analysis about the series. If someone did that to Lebron what Lebron did to Granger I definitely would bitch and moan about it for like 5 posts as the Heat wouldn't be winning the title and that means this bandwagon has just not worked for me.

JJ Barea is 5'9 guard who was in midair when he got Bynum's elbow in his chest. He's done the same thing to Gerald Wallace, actually breaking his ribs and collapsing his lung. Beasley was also on the receiving end of Bynum's massive shoves. Bynum's lucky he got suspended 1 game, 2 games, and 4 games for those three unnecessarily hard and dangerous fouls. He deserved 10 games apiece, no doubt about it. Unfortunately, the league doesn't care that they are endangering players by handing out very short suspensions, even for repeat offenders like Bynum and MWP. Eventually the league has to do something about it. Fouls like this should actually earn a suspension that actually means something in the long run. Losing Pittman doesn't mean much when you're up against a banged up squad like the Pacers or a small team like the Celtics (who I expect to win game 7).

That's why LeBron needs to be suspended for the rest of the playoffs. Especially since he started this by trying to kill Danny Granger for making a smart basketball play.
Fri May 25, 2012 2:44 am
the playoffs? i think he needs to be suspended next season also.

How about for a lifetime?. He's a threat to the mankind of NBA.
john26 wrote:I'm just tired of reading nothing but complaints instead of decent conversation and analysis about the series.
Same here. I can't recall last time there being something worthwhile reading and discussing when the Heat talk shows up. Most of them are along the lines of how Wade is a scumbag and he got what he deserved for slapping Kobe, the Pacers not being favored, and all that complaining. Oh... Wait...

What is this about? Please back up ur statement and don't just make one and expect people to agree with you.

btw andrew i think the kevin foul was horrible but the one from bill not as bad. i dont like to see players take shots at other players, specially the head. i do think both the linked fouls, and the elbow by artest before the playoffs were no way near as bad as the pittman one

Danny Granger is back boys.
Fri May 25, 2012 8:37 am
That still doesn't justify or explain any of ur claims of Pacers not being favored, Wade deserving the dirty hit for slapping Kobe, or Bron intentionally hurting Granger. If you did that only to get back at skyline, fine. But let's not act like I'm the one cracking the pipe here.
Sauru wrote:the elbow by artest before the playoffs were no way near as bad as the pittman one
I am actually surprised to hear this, but each to his own I guess. For me, Pittman's foul was plain dirty. Artest? You add Crazy and Dirty together, and there you have it.

Why should I do that? You didn't do it for this post...

Looks like the Pacers have taken Bird's words to heart, good battle going in Game 6.

Agreed, though I feel World Peace's elbow was up there. As I said at the time though, the seven game suspension was definitely a case of the league saying "Really? Again?", which I feel was appropriate.

Wade saving LeBron from another epic historic choke.
Fri May 25, 2012 12:57 pm
Kobe wouldn't have needed Wade.
Fri May 25, 2012 1:14 pm
What the fuck? Why does everyone hate the heat? LeBron has a solid game and benji says he almost choked... like what the hell do they have to do? Pull a lamp their asses?
Fri May 25, 2012 1:27 pm
People don't hate Miami Heat. They hate the way people praise the Miami Heat. Most Miami Heat Fans make it seem like they are team in the league.Plus there is hype around this team.I liked the NBA back in old days where you didn't see too much bandwagon fans.
Fri May 25, 2012 1:31 pm
There are also running jokes and tongue-in-cheek posts.
Fri May 25, 2012 1:33 pm
I don't think Eastern Conference this year is not even challenge because so many key players are out and so many wrong calls.
Fri May 25, 2012 1:52 pm
Honestly i thought the Heat would lose the series without Bosh. But LeBwade have pulled some kind of legendary playoff series for the history books and i'm starting to believe they can pull something epic off after all.
