Yesterday game sucked being boring and all that(even w/ OTs) but Reggie and Charles made the game a lot more watcheable. Lolz. And yep, that Ivan nobody terrible sure made his name in his debut game.

Denver are still looking good, now at 6-2 after their win against the Hornets. I've been surprised with Kosta Koufos the last few games. He could possibly take the starting centre spot off Mozgov.

Indeed. A surprising start for Denver and strong performance from last season continues. Initially, I thought losing players like Wilson, Raymond, and Kenyon was going to make them an instant loser. But instead they only have been making Lamrock look like a genius. So far based on their success and Knick's not-so-impressive showings, it's arguable that Denver ended up on the better side of Melo trade.

It's not hard to see why they are winning. Almost 13 steals a game and 6 players averaging double figures with no superstar ego to deal with. Their turnovers will hurt them in the long run.

The season is young, but so much for them hovering around eighth or ninth place in the West. I'm guessing other teams will sort themselves out and the Nuggets will come back to earth a bit, but right now they're still looking like they got the best end of the Melo deal.

Denver owned the Knicks in that trade, and Wilson Chandler (who I'm not huge on but still has undeniable talent) hasn't even been playing. He may never play another game in a Nuggets jersey, but ultimately this team looks good. With Memphis dropping out of the running, and the Spurs also losing their best player for quite some time, I'd be surprised if a reasonably healthy Denver team missed the playoffs.
I'll be fine with Portland occasionally being blown out by the dregs of the league as long as they keep beating the relevant ones. Manages expectations in case the team's early success was merely due to a very favorable early schedule.
On the subject of the Northwest Division, fuck Oklahoma.

Since they no longer have Jeff Green, I'd agree with Lamrock's statement

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/370 ... nnXRbKPKB4 Jan 7 C Darko Milicic scored 11 points of his team's first 22 points in Friday's first nine minutes... then didn't score again the rest of the night. "Nothing," he said when asked what Cleveland did to slow him down. "I slow myself down." He also made just one of six free throws.
Darko speaks the truth.
Sun Jan 08, 2012 7:36 am
I watched couple minutes of that game before switching the channel. Darko was shooting free throw and he had no rhythm whatsoever. I thought it was more of mental issues. He's just weak. He looked to be pissed off at himself after missing a FT, like an embarrased and pissed off highschool kid on the court. Physically I think he always had what it takes to be a solid player. Should be mental that's the problem.

Why u hating on the best team in the Western Conference. They're the real deal atm and will be for 3 to 4 more years at least.

For the same reason most former Sonics fans have trouble cheering for the Thunder, I'd imagine.
Sun Jan 08, 2012 9:52 am
You guys realize the Nuggets were 18-7 (59-23) after the trade last year right? Compared to 32-25 (46-36) before.

Westbrook was lucky to avoid any kind of ankle or knee injury.

Mon Jan 09, 2012 7:49 am
Got to be cartilage.
Mon Jan 09, 2012 8:33 am
Damn, that looked really bad.
On another note, god, the Wizards suck.
Mon Jan 09, 2012 10:46 am
He's out for the rest of the season.

Terrible news.
okcthunder OKC THUNDER
News: Eric Maynor tore right ACL in Sat game. It requires surgery and he will miss rest of 2011-12 season, Thunder GM Sam Presti announced.
I guess Reggie Jackson gets to show why Presti decided to get rid of Nate Robinson in favour of him now.
Mon Jan 09, 2012 11:04 am
Wow. It didn't look that bad. The worst thing about that is the fact that all he did was hop step

I was a little upset that the Spurs lost to the Thunder but i am no way surprised.I think the highlight for me was when Perkins and Blair got into each others face.

I would love to see who would win in a fight between them two.
