In that case, I do not hope Aemeichi returns. Dude sucked.
He still does, if you know what I mean.

Who gives a flying ratsass about Devin Green.
I thought it was Devin Harris.
Sat Aug 11, 2007 10:30 am
Is Devin Harris even a free agent?
Sat Aug 11, 2007 10:41 am
he was probably confused by the title
Sat Aug 11, 2007 10:52 am
I was about to have a "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" post, until I saw that it wasn't Devin Harris (Who is a FA, if I'm not mistaken), and just some nobody.
Sat Aug 11, 2007 10:55 am
I guess this is now the minor "KG going to Houston thread". Change the title, converewade!

No doubt. I was disappointed when Penny didn't get a second run in Orlando after the Francis trade as it meant another star from the 90s fizzled out without any fanfare. I don't think anyone should expect great things from Penny but supposedly he's reasonably healthy and in decent shape so he could probably give the Heat some decent minutes off the bench.

I see why you got downgraded from conversewade2.0 to conversewade. Instead of going to the Heat's website, I get all of my news from conversewade. How about posting about something that could possibly strike some discussion?
Sat Aug 11, 2007 11:58 am
every time he makes any post it strikes up some convo, usually convo we dont want and later regret having(like this post) but none the less he starts one.

You saying he might be useful? Don't encourage him.

Crap exists in this world so that you can distinguish what is good and what is crap.
xbo360nbalive07converswade2.0 is a reminder for us what crap is. So basically he has a use, sadly.

Ok title changed.Devin Green is just a d-leauge player.Even if I'm a heat fan,I think it's a useless signing.First Smush,now this.

i hope this doesn't complete heat's changes to the roster this year, was total garbage including anfernee
they should consider upgrading via trades
they got baits like robber's best friend anton walka & jason williams
i hope other teams like pistons bites it so heat goes all the way
Sun Aug 12, 2007 1:08 am
See the thing is, conversewade2.0 never makes personal attacks or anything of the sort, so we can't quite ban him.

The NLSC should have an emoticon for "dying of laughter" or anything similar.
This one:

is pretty stale.
Uhmm I really don´t get what´s so funny... I merely pointed out that Penny´s game (When his knees weren´t screwed up) was based on finesse and playmaking skill, not on the ability to jump out of the gym or muscling his way to the basket.
Sun Aug 12, 2007 1:51 am
Yeah, and I can see almost all of the threads here were created by him...
Back to topic, Devin Green, is he the one whom Snyder posterized?

He may not be Deron Williams strong but he relied on his insane ability to drive to the hole with his quickness.
I also wouldn't call it a finesse game when he drives inside and his dunks posterizes someone like Shawn Bradley (as cyanide can testify).
Why would a 6'7 point guard with athleticism rely on a finesse game when he can drive to the basket with ease. *feigning idiocy*
Sun Aug 12, 2007 2:18 am
It´s been many years since I saw Penny play but I remember him for his nifty passes, not his dunks.
*Edit* I watched some youtube clips to refresh my memory of Penny and damn he had some serious hops.
Sun Aug 12, 2007 4:17 am
even players like damon jones & lue were able to shine, with shaq on their side of court. so imo, there is a hope anfernee could make an impact this year. i wish this year's eastern conf final's gonna be heat vs celtics. then i wouldn't know whom to root for. and the most exciting scenario would be rockets vs celtics in finals.

Great memory! For those who don't know the story: I once had a Penny Hardaway fan site, and there was this video clip of Penny dunking on Shawn Bradley. At around the time, I was in contact with Shawn Bradley's foster sister, and he wasn't too pleased when she shared the video with Shawn.
Sun Aug 12, 2007 4:03 pm
How could I forget, that story is classic.
*imaginary scenario*
cyanide: I'm a big fan of your brother.
sister: Really? That's nice.
cyanide: I like the way your brother reacted when Penny dunked on him.
