Houston is far to strong defensively and there is no one on that Warriors team capable of coming close to guarding Yao Ming.

GSW can counter that with
1. quick dbl teams......Yao's dribble is too high & slow, they'll have a field day by crowding him.

2. Run him to the floor.....in the reg season Yao could barely hit the basket in the 4th and he didn't run up and down anymore

in fact, Phx & GSW run & gun causes Houston the most problems.

What about the Rockets shooters though? Yao is a good passer out of the post and Houston has the likes of Luther Head, Rafer Alston, Shane Battier and Tracy McGrady spotting up from open looks given up from doubling Yao. The thing is how quick they can move. They have moved pretty damn quick thus far, but I think it may be a different story come round 2 if they get there. With their doubles on Dirk they don't have to quickly get out to those open shooters, because Dallas doesn't have great shooters. Jason Terry is about all they have, although Josh Howard can nail the 3. The rest of the guys aren't playing enough minutes to really matter.

If Houston somehow finds some sort of offensive game if they make it to the next round I don't really see GSW giving them too many problems.

Well, if Warriors win, I'll be depressed for a few days then I'll root for them. I suppose the Jazz still have a chance to win, but they really need to figure out how to win at the Toyota Center. I don't see them losing in Salt Lake City.

And uh...AK-47 totally had a great game today ;)/:P/:S

Great showing by Tracy tonight. It's good that people are starting to forget the "selfish" lable. He had 26 and 16 tonight, deferring to his teammates alot. Hopefully I can see him in the second round for the first time this year, he most definately deserves it.

If I see Carmelo in the second round also, couple that with the amazing Warriors performance, TMac in the 2nd round and the Bulls sweeping the Heat, this is the best playoffs from my point of view in a long time.

McGrady selfish? People actually say that? Ever since Orlando he's only had 2 seasons where he's averaged less than 6 assists.

Yep. He's been my favorite player (as well as Carmelo) ever since he's been in the league and when talking about him I hear alot of people say he is a "selfish superstar" and always refer to the season he admitting playing for stats during that awful year in Orlando. I always tried to argue and say he is much more of a playmaker than alot of superstar players nowdays but have nothing to back it up with other than the assist numbers, because I can't just describe the way he plays, because the people saying that may not watch him as much as I do. Finally now that his team is winning and he is handling the back spasms he is getting more "publicity" and people begin to understand when they hear certain NBA analyst's talk about Tracy's unselfishness or his ability to make his teammates better.

It's satisfying to see him finally get what he deserves and hopefully make it to the 2nd round.

Spurs v Suns...very likely the title series right here assuming Dallas gets upset by Baron Davis.
