Hmm that would be a nice trade for philly and pretty much the best they can get. I doubt that the Detroit Trade is going to happen which was mentioned a couple of posts before.

Cy, it's official, you got old friend.

LOL, nice one Cy

AI > Iverson?
I dont like that trade with Detroit. Webber is still there, so he and Sheed would be fighting for minutes.

I think and hope he goes to Minnesota, I have a feeling that's going to happen. It's the same feeling I had about knowing Charlotte was gonna draft Morrison (everyone knew it - I guess that's how sure I am).

I suppose I can't use lack of sleep as an excuse.

Iverson will give us what we lack. . .instant offense

Pacers don't have the pieces......no way Philly would want Tinsley or JAX, and at minimum you'd have to unload Granger.

With the way Jamaal has played this year, Tinsley and Granger would be a nice start for Philly.
Tue Dec 12, 2006 9:46 am
Not when you could get better players. Not taking away from Tinsley or Jackson, but come on, when the words Rasheed, Garnett and Pierce are being thrown around, you don't want to hear about Tinsley.

Just read about this too (BTW you're smoking pure crack if you think the Bulls are a lottery team with or without a trade). If Iverson's looking to get back in the Finals this is the best trade for him.
Tue Dec 12, 2006 10:08 am
He didn't say the Bulls would be a lottery team. The Bulls have the option of swapping picks with the Nicks this year, which could be a top 5 pick.

Exactly, but you can't call him an idiot because of that. He learnt to shut up about some stuff that could hurt the team, and started being a team leader...until now
Anyway, something kinda funny that I read the other day

Wow, that’s a gem. I can’t believe you transcribed the whole thing. Oh wait, I suppose you could have just copied “we talkin’ about practice” and then pasted every time you heard it. I guess that would have been pretty easy.
I can’t tell whether I agree with him. It was an interesting technique: this is what we’re talking about - you say it enough times and it does sound absurd. They’re talking about practice?
We’re debatin’ gay marriage. Gay marriage man. We’re debating gay marriage. Gay marriage. We’re talkin’ about gay marriage, man. It’s funny to me too, but we are talkin’ about gay marriage.
I can’t tell if it worked, it already seemed absurd to me.

Nice one. Yeah, I think it worked. Here’s my take:
I mean, if someone comes up to you, and says two gay guys that you know are getting married, then that’s that. But we talkin’ about gay marriage. We talkin’ about gay marriage man. Not the war in Iraq. Not the budget deficit. Not health care. We talkin’ about gay marriage. What are we talkin’ about? Gay marriage? I understand that we supposed to be talkin’ about all sorts of things. But we talkin’ about gay marriage man. We talkin’ about gay marriage.

I have a question if Iverson does get traded to the West.
What happens to his All-Star spot? Would he sit out of the game?
Tue Dec 12, 2006 3:54 pm
If you were New Jersey, would you be tempted to offer Kidd for Iverson and Dalemburt? Or Jefferson for Iverson?
Tue Dec 12, 2006 4:55 pm
that trade wouldnt work salary wise, but i probably would do it if i were in rod thorn's shoes. with vc soon to depart, iverson can either start at pg with wright/adams at the 2. or have iverson at 2 and marcus williams at 1. dalembert would be that rebounding and inside presence that the nets have been searching for since kmart. not jefferson for iverson
Tue Dec 12, 2006 5:02 pm
Bulls won't go for it. They can't let go for the chance of their life by giving away their chance to draft Greg Oden
With AI out of Philly's roster I think the one who will benefit the most would be Andre Iguodala.
NJ: Kidd for AI? are you kidding me? that means they will have two scorers in the roster. R Jefferson and others for AI sounds good though.

Not quite sure, but as the balloting isn't finished there's no need for him to sit out. He just switches conferences.

Haha are you delusional? If Philly called and asked for Rasheed, Garnett or Pierce, Detroit, Minnesota and Boston would laugh and hang up. Philly is not going to get even
close to that value for AI.
Tue Dec 12, 2006 6:18 pm
i want to see him in minnesota, it would be fantastic! but ricky davis must stay with wolves, i like him very much!
how bout funny deal:
philly send:
AI
Miami send:
j-will+posey+wright
Tue Dec 12, 2006 6:21 pm
believe me they won't! because they know AI wants to be traded so they will take whatever is good out there and go for it. AI had been told not to come to practice and games already and they won't bring him back to the roster, so if they don't trade him fast his trade value will decline and they are still paying him for doing nothing
Tue Dec 12, 2006 7:44 pm
If he goes to the Bulls, just try to imagine him and Skiles being on the same page. It won't work out
Tue Dec 12, 2006 10:15 pm
Bulls will probably have to force Skiles to abandon the "no head band" rule if they want AI.
Tue Dec 12, 2006 10:50 pm
COME ON IVERSON TO BLAZERS!!!!!@#!@$#!#$
Not gonna happen

.
So much for my Sixers' Iverson jersey that I got 6 months ago.
Tue Dec 12, 2006 10:52 pm
The headband rule is not a Scott Skiles rule. He just enforces it but I believe Paxson and their owner (whatever his name is) came up with it during the Eddie Robinson era.
