He had a really good outing against the Heat last year too with 11, 9 and 9. Of course then, the Heat won by 25.

I would like to be left alone if that's ok with you guys.

Engagement Ring LeBron James Gave Savannah Brinson!Michael Jordan: 6
Kobe Bryant: 5
Savannah Brinson: 1
LeBron James: 0
Two children already and highschool sweetheart. Perhaps the second best Decision in his life to marry her.
Thu Jan 05, 2012 3:11 am
LeBron wants to get married now so he can do a Kobe as soon as possible.
Thu Jan 05, 2012 3:33 am
Which one? Rape, cheating, or a divorce.
I wonder if he's to listen to the advice 2 MJs given Kobe on pre nup.

Since no Haslem (Write-in), put LeBron and since there's no Cole, went with Rose.

For a moment there I though the greatness that is Joel Anthony had a Twitter account, then I realized it's a tweet for nba.com

There goes Howard's streak of starting for the East.

Gotta hand it to Bosh. He's taken his fair share of knocks as the third man in Miami's big three, but he got the job done against the Hawks.
Sat Jan 07, 2012 6:25 pm
The win was quite special despite me finding the game little boring without Lebron and Dwyane. Harris, Chalmers, and Bosh, these three had a great game which is confidence/morale boost. As for the Hawks, it was obviously an off night evidently with wrong Johnson having a best game for the Hawks, which is a sign that something didn't go right for them.

So LeBron looks healthy with 22 points, 7-7 from the field, 8-9 from the stripe with 4 rebounds in the first quarter.

I want to believe that Lebron really has entered the prime and the motivation level is at its peak in his career. Perhaps it's little due to Wade the another ball handler being less effective and injured this season but his production level is just off the chart so far in this young season.
PER: 36.7
WS: .410
TS%: .659
MP: 36.3 <--- Minutes Per Game lowest in his career but look at his numbers!
PTS: 30.1
STL: 2.0
AST: 7.6
TRB: 7.6
FG%: .601
FGA: 18.5 <--- Also the lowest in his career.
The season is still young and I don't believe he'll continue to keep these numbers up but perhaps we're to be seeing the best Lebron James in his career this year. The biggest noticeable difference from all his previous years to this season is 3 points attempts per game. He's rarely taking any threes as he's only registering 0.3 threes attempts per game. He pretty much stopped throwing 3s.

LeBron is definitely in his prime and probably has been for the last couple of years really. Because of his age, a lot of people seemingly expect him to one day average a triple double or better. I don't see it happening, if it were that easy a couple of other all-time great players would've done it by now (not that a few haven't come close aside from Oscar Robertson who of course actually did do it) and the numbers have to come from somewhere. Rather, I think he's going to maintain the kind of numbers he's putting up now, maybe play a bit smarter and more reliably in crunch time but that's about it.
Getting back to your point though, I agree he's definitely having a fine season so far. There's still a lot to prove but perhaps the disappointment of defeat and all the criticism he took after last year's Finals are things he's been able to take on board and learn from, like other greats before him.
Tue Jan 10, 2012 6:49 am
It's great to see him not settling for threes (only two 3PA all season, hasn't made either one). True, he's the clear #1 option with Wade out right now, but all those numbers are pretty incredible. I'd like to see LeBron block more shots (only averaged .6/game last season, and he's averaging .9 this season. His athleticism alone should get him at least a block and a half a game.

U just don't ask a guy to play better when he's averaging PER: 36.8 and .412(WS/48). Significance of these figures? Historic, period.
Did I mention ORTG 125 n DRTG 94?
Thu Jan 12, 2012 11:31 pm
LeBron stalls again in the clutchWoj is right. It's all too familiar given what happened in last year's Finals, but LeBron isn't going to redeem himself and avenge those losses around 10 games into the lockout shortened regular season. These things do happen to all the greats from time to time, it's a matter of doing all you can to avoid it when the stakes are at their highest.

Wade out indefinitely. What a bad timing as we're having a 3 game losing streak. But no Wade is better than having an injured Wade on the floor. Hoping to see him come back strong.

...and Eddy Curry is playing right now. First glimpse of action since December 2009, and he already has an offensive board and a layup.
Fri Jan 20, 2012 2:55 pm
He looked to be in shape. Even better shape than his prime. Promising...
As for the game, the Lakers came out empty. Easy victory for the Heat.
