The Raptors are done. Hate to sound like a pessimist but it was only a matter of time before Carter started hitting his shots, and even then they let the Nets steal home court.

W00t!! Raptors up 17 at the half. Bargs has been awesome, scoring 17 points without missing a shot (6-6 FG, including 2-2 from 3pt, and 3-3 at the line) and finishing the half with a block. If Bosh can stay out of foul trouble and Bargs keep playing the way he has, the Raptors should win this game.

TJ's out for the game with a stinger, but Calderon has been huge.

I hate to be an ass, but it's a blessing in disguise. The Raptors play better without TJ, but I also hope TJ recovers.

MAN OH MAN THOSE LAST FEW MINUTES OF THE 4th QUARTER SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME! :shock:

ESPECIALLY AFTER BOSH MISSED THE FREETHROW ANDSEEING VC AT THE LEFT ELBOW THREE POINT LINE (he drove instead of shoot), AND BOSTJAN NACHBAR WITH THE OPEN LOOK FROM A LITTLE TO THE RIGHT OF THE RIGHT ELBOW FOR THREE!! MAN OH MAN GOOD THING THE RAPTORS PULLED IT OFF!!!!!!

I hope for the best for the PG situation though...TJ has a stinger, Jose sprained his ankle in the final minute of play...GO RAPTORS!!!!!!!

That game was too close for comfort. Hopefully the guys can watch video and see what they can improve for next game. I really would like to see more plays run for Bargnani considering he hardly got any touches in the second half.

Hehe, the crowd was chanting "VC sucks, let's go Raptors!" with about 2 minutes to go. And not just some, the ACC was rocking. It was crazy loud on TV.

Oh man, that reminds me. Do any of you listen to 102.1 FM in the morning? The Dean Blundell Show? It's fucking hilarious; this morning they sent someone to VC's hotel and he managed to get past security and wake VC up at 7:00 this morning ... all on live radio. They're awesome. :lol:

Never watched a Raptors game before since I don't recieve any, but I watched the highlights and Carter has a very nice shooting style.

Bosh didn't play very well this game (or any game in this series in particular). They were just very lucky in those last three quarters. Jose did well in the second half and Bargs was awesome in the first half.

The listeners want to send the guys to NJ to do it next game too, but it's going to cost too much for the station. It was pretty damn funny though. I didn't realize the guy who said it was gay; that makes it so much better. :lol:

Not saying it is. If he comesi n here and criticizes the way the raptors are playing, a move they made, etc. no problem, its always good to get responses from outside the fanbase. But, when he comes in and insults the fans for no damn reason, thats a problem in my books

If Ford and Caulderon still dont feel 100% ready before game 6, then won't that mean DERICK MARTIN is going to start? Wow, he better start practicing his butt off then if he's going to challenge Kidd

I doubt it. Colangelo was on the Fan590 today and said that in the case that both aren't able to go, Dixon and Parker will see time at the point. Which could lead to some interesting matchups. Imagine a lineup of
PG:Parker
SG:Mo
SF:Bargs
PF:Bosh
C:Rasho/Hump

4/5 are able to knock down shots from pretty much anywhere and all 5 can score in the paint. It could be interesting

That said, I don't think either will miss the game. TJ is too much of a competitor and Jose never gives up. I think both will man-up and play through the pain. The amount they will play though? I think that's going to be the question

You mean The MVP Darrick Martin? In a MVP worthy performance he led the 1996-97 Clippers into the playoffs and played well against the Finals-bound Jazz. Won CBA Playoffs MVP leading his team to a title. Stepped into the breach for Minny in the 2004 West Conf. Finals. The guy is a winner!

Although, even I would prefer to at least have Ford or Calderon healthy and available...
