You know who didn't lose the first game of the last two NBA Finals?

One word.

Kobe.

Nice way to end the game, with a Wade to Lebron alley oop :D

The Heat really locking down in 4th. Great fun to watch. Empathetic dunk by James just now!!!

Yep. Terry's foul and quick 3 attempt right after that killed the Mavs eventually. Some nice plays by the Heat.

That's because Stern needed to find someone LeBron could beat to get his ring* so he picked the ultimate choker of chokers rather than see LeBron once again go fishing after being crushed by the ultimate winner.

Real basketball fans understand that unless you beat Kobe fairly in the NBA Finals, the ring doesn't count. But Stern can fool a lot of the casual fanbase into thinking LeBron is an actual winner.

Great defensive performance by the Heat and not a bad job on Dirk despite his 27 pts.

Count again. To win the series, the Mavs will have to win four... ;-)

Good game that was more competitive than the last couple of minutes would suggest, Miami came up big when it mattered most. Very ordinary shooting by both teams on the whole but I thought the Mavericks missed on some really good looks; glancing at the boxscore, they had thirteen fewer attempts than the Heat and made six fewer shots, no surprise given the way they were dominated on the boards. Should be a good series.

Interference!!!!!!!!!!

edit: Stevenson doin' the Terry today...

edit: THAT was a foul by Chandler on the fastbreak on Wade! Dangerous when a guy is running like that.

I just can't understand how Jason Terry disappears completely. I see it coming: They gonna blame Dirk for shooting 5-13, but everytime he passes out of a double team and makes plays for his team mates, they can't hit a shot.

Matrix, Chandler are delivering, Kidd and Terry totally blackouts.

@hova-: Yep, nothing is falling for them. Although many shots were wide open with lots of time to aim. Bibby knows how it's done.
