Ugh Magloire again? >.<
EDIT: At least he can dunk it...
Niiice shot by Deng!

So far a very exciting game. Haslem is playing pretty solid basketball. Miami definitely needs that.

Kinda like game 1. Very competitive so far. Hoping the Heat won't collapse again in 3rd and 4th.

Kind of an ugly first half. Officiating is pretty awful both ways, it's almost as if they looked at the amount of free throws in the Mavericks/Thunder game and decided "Yeah, let's try for that". Bulls aren't exactly lighting it up while Wade and James are looking a lot better. I'm expecting the second half will be a gritty one, with no blowout this time no matter which team prevails.

Some of those foul calls were ridiculous.

Looks like it's going to continue in the second half.

Daaaamn Haslem! Nice dunk!
And a nice euro step by Wade

This game cannot get any worse for Rose. Miami is definitely making things tough for him.

Are the refs blind! James double dribbled!

Yeah that was bizarre, it sure looked like he double dribbled rather blatantly on that one.

Horrible officiating. I think it has mostly been to Miami's detriment. Lebron was clearly fouled on that shot.

I love the defense by both teams. Udonis is a warrior!

Shots really aren't falling either for the Bulls. This is gonna be an amazing series.

Turning into 02. Horrible calls by the refsin this game. I don't really care who wins this series, but just bad calls.

The Bulls were fouled on a lot of plays and didn't get the call either, not to mention what appeared to be a blatant double dribble by LeBron. I'd say it was pretty even, terrible calls both ways which made Reggie and Steve's praise of the officials in the second half all the more jarring. You hate to see a competitive game marred like that but overall, it was a poor performance by the officiating crew.

Not to take anything away from Miami's defense or LeBron making cold blooded shots in the final minutes but the Bulls could've been in control and won that one had they made their free throws. Probably a better game for Rose than it first appears - six rebounds, eight assists, only two turnovers - but the 7/23 shooting is ugly and he misfired on a lot of easy ones around the basket that he usually makes. Not much help from Boozer, either. The offense has to be a lot better the rest of the series if they want to have any chance of winning.

It looked like Miami was going to get outrebounded again but they did a great job on the boards as the game went on and it certainly helped them. Haslem came up big for them tonight, looks like they can do without Dampier and Ilgauskas so long as he's got it going.

I like Miami in 6, especially if Halsem is able to give 25 minutes a night. He has been the missing piece all season. Miami needs his toughness around the basket.

I was like shit ref are you nuts you fking better fix your officiating it was like there was too many fouls of the heat that was not counted I hate to say this but maybe the refs are heat fans

? WTF were u watchin, icefox? Sure, the Heat got away on a few occasions, but the Bulls had it just as much if not more. Just because the Final Scoreboard shows the Heat as the winner, it don't mean every calls benefited only the Heat.

UD played great. Big surprise to me as our bigs were badly beaten by CHI frontline in game 1. Big props to Spo for sticking to his plan rather than listening to the critics and playing Big Z and Damp. It worked out good I guess.

edit: Looking at it again, it does kind of look like he lost possession. I think Deng might have swiped the ball a little bit.

I watched the first quarter live, when the Bulls just dominated the offensive glass and I fell asleep thinking there's no way the Heat can come back. But LeBron and UD stepped up. I knew UD had it in him. (Y)

I don't know, still looks like he picked up a controlled dribble then put it on the floor again. It still looks like a violation to me but if not, he at least came very, very close to one.

NovU wrote:It's somewhat funny that Big Z didn't play a minute in Game 1, who actually was a starter in the previous 2 series. Also where Dampier at? These two guys were the starters for the most of season. Spo should have used them not Magloire or Haslem.

And as for Haslem, sorry but you ain't no Haslem of old. He shouldn't be trusted as he isn't 100% and seem to only hurt our chance as the other players aren't really familiar with him. But props to Spoeltra for trying something new though it didn't work. Hope he'll do a better job in game 2.

Just sayin'.

He's a confused Heat fan.

I don't mind being wrong or proved to be wrong as thousand of others are proven wrong everyday.

On the issue, that's why I said it was a big surprise that UD played so well and was happy to be wrong. Now, he's gotta keep it up. And my guess was more like a general perception widely shared by many experts and regular Heat fans.

Besides, grin tries his hardest to try to prove me wrong for some reason while I couldn't careless. Why not go bitching about countless people doubting Heat rebounding problem is rather more interesting here as it all took was simple boxing out and bit of team effort. Atlanta guy rooting against his own team in the playoffs calls me a confused fan. That's also funny.
