Good to Mills get drafted I agree a bit late but Blazers was 1 of a few teams I was hoping would draft him. I just hope he gets court time.

Not surprised at all that Mills went in 2nd Round, just surprised he went about 15-20 picks lower than I thought....I was also surprised to see guys like Blair, Sam Young & Budinger drop so far too....

I still can't for the life of me understand the T'wolves drafting Jonny Flynn of all people....just take bloody Stephen Curry already....I know, I know, it makes too much sense....Flynn is overrated....he might be solid, but shit, I don't like the pick....hope they trade him away....

The TWolves definitely made a couple of confusing draft picks, and they could've handled their great draft situation a lot better than they did. It would've made a lot of sense to keep Ellington and Lawson together, for chemistry purposes.

The Wolves picked three PG-sin the first round :D Thank god they traded Lawson. I'm also pretty sure that Rubio will be traded or he will return to Juventot.

Hansbrough at 13 was a bit surprising, although I think he deserved to be up this high. Most mocks had him at 20-30. Latest RealGM had him at 41 I believe.

I hope Lawson will get steady 15-20 minutes next to Billups, then even lengthen his playing time. Great move for the Nuggets.

I hoped my Heat had done more though..

I like the reason why Jennings was late for the draft (he thought he was going to be undrafted). No sarcasm.

If he's the one who thought about that possibility or the people around him, it's could be that he's (or people around him are) not delusional about his own value or skill, keeping him at least grounded to work harder.

Sure, he talked smacked against Rubio but I think it was was just confidence or pride in his part about his own abilities but not to the point that he thinks he's really that good (thus his reason of being late for the draft).

That's an interesting perspective, but I'm still not sure it made him look particularly good. It certainly grabbed some attention though.

I'm not sure he expected to be undrafted entirely, but I do think that he expected to go lower in the draft (25+) and I don't expect it was the type of situation he wanted to be around for.

Jennings did not want to be the last one in the Green Room. As simple as that. They say pride comes before a fall.

The best thing q\about the draft is that people care about the epic Timberwolves.

Mills>All

You guys are right. Just found out that it was his agent's advice not to appear to avoid embarassing his client because Jennings was expected to be drafted low.

Rookie Salary Scale Numbers Leaked

Darren Rovell of CNBC released the 2009-10 rookie contract salaries over their three-year deals. Rovell compared Griffin's $16M deal to the $25M in guaranteed money Mark Sanchez received from the Jets. The NFL owners are interested in putting a rookie scale system into their new CBA.
