I think this game deserves a thread of it's own.
Let me start off the thread with a bang, with one sentence.
That was fucking awesome.
Sat Dec 20, 2014 4:46 pm
Lillard is good. [/thread]
Sat Dec 20, 2014 5:37 pm
Good is looking more and more like a grand understatement.
Sat Dec 20, 2014 5:42 pm
He posted this before his last game vs the Bucks

LOL @ him not being one of 11 guys picked. also LOL @ Rose and how Curry isn't #1 on either list. and this proves how inept Isiah Thomas was at evalutaing talent/running a team.
Sat Dec 20, 2014 5:51 pm
Okay, like Greg Anthony's list is semi-acceptable other than the blatant lack of Paul. But, Isiah. Isiah. How did Tony Parker get up there? Was he watching 2009 playoff highlights or something?
Sat Dec 20, 2014 6:33 pm
Rose isnt even going to be in my Top 10, tbh
Sat Dec 20, 2014 6:56 pm
Agreed. Rose isn't the same guy.. And Paul (in my opinion) is number 8.
This has to be the best game of the year. (Grizzlies Vs Spurs was a close second)
My list: (Best to "worst")
Russell Westbrook (incredible athlete, scorer, and has also become a better leader)
Stephen Curry (Do I even have to explain?)
John Wall (great finisher and dimer.)
Damian Lillard (Great scorer, high IQ, knows when to distribute and when to score, as well as clutch as fuck #AskParsons)
Kyrie Irving (great shooting, should have a higher percentage)
Mike Conley (great defender, high IQ, decent distributor)
Rajon Rondo (he'd be higher if not for his shooting. /: )
Chris Paul (great leader, but not much in terms of beautiful numbers. Struggles to be assertive at times)
Jrue Holiday (he'd be higher if he was a better shooter and was more assertive.)
Ty Lawson (has developed into somewhat of a leader, seems to have a better attitude than people give him credit for).

Curry should be no. 1 on their lists imo. LMFAO @ Rose.

wat
Sat Dec 20, 2014 9:09 pm
LOL Conley at number 5.
Sat Dec 20, 2014 11:15 pm
Again you have no clue what you're talking about.
What a joke.
Sun Dec 21, 2014 1:56 am
Is it really necessary to have the spoiler in the thread title?

Lol if you don't like it, why don't you just get the #### out of here instead of wasting bandwith to make snide, bland, wasteful comments?
@benji And yeah, Chris Paul does struggle to be assertive at times. Why? I could guess it would be his average athleticism, and not being able to finish as well.
Sun Dec 21, 2014 6:44 am
Curry, Paul, Westbrook, Lowry and Lillard would be my top 5. Conley and Wall are in the conversation though!
Sun Dec 21, 2014 6:46 am
Wall has improved way beyond what I was expecting this year from him, TBH.
Sun Dec 21, 2014 7:36 am
Another triple ot at AT&T Center, another loss by Spurs.

I meant the "lack of beautiful numbers" part.
Sun Dec 21, 2014 9:14 am
Isaiah Thomas & Greg Smith = Stephen A Smith & Skip Bayless
Lamrock has it right on top 5 PGs btw.

What more does cp3 have to do?? He's shooting over 50%, 88% ft, 37.5% from 3, 17.5 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 10 apg, 2 spg, and is in the top 5 for fewest tpg out of all starting pgs. If that isn't "beautiful numbers", I dunno what is. Just because he doesn't shoot 100 times a game, score 30 ppg, and turn the ball over 4 times a game like Westbrook doesn't mean he's not a top pg in the league.
Sun Dec 21, 2014 10:08 am
I'm not saying CP3 isn't talented, or one of the best. I'm saying that he doesn't have the explosive burst that Lillard does, nor the passing Rondo has. Paul may have better shooting, yes, but Rondo still managed to average 11 asts with targets like Avery Bradley and Kelly Olynyk.
Sun Dec 21, 2014 1:21 pm
Just use Anthony Mason tactics. Hold the ball for 23 seconds, pass.
Sun Dec 21, 2014 8:52 pm
Lillard probably gets overlooked to a certain extent because of Aldridge. Aldridge is the more established player, not to mention a 20 and 10 player in a league where that's not quite as common as it once was. It probably contributes at least a little to Lillard not getting his due.

It's not that I don't like your comments(they are so idiotic I actually love them) it's just you actually have no clue what you're talkign about. Too much 2k.
And yeah, Chris Paul does struggle to be assertive at times.
This just proves my point.
, and not being able to finish as well.
This too.
I'm saying that he doesn't have the explosive burst that Lillard does
Did you just start watching the NBA ?
but not much in terms of beautiful numbers
Basically everything you said in this thread made you look dumb. Lack of beautiful numbers. What he should shoot 30 shots per game average 35 points on poor % ? How old are you ?
Mon Dec 22, 2014 3:29 am
Dude that's none of your business. Considering you collect pictures of girls, (not trying to be rude, just making my point) you could be a pedophile for all I know.
And dude Paul doesn't have the burst Lillard does, are you kidding? Ever since his injury back in NOLA, he's not as assertive attacking the rim. Paul may have better floaters and runners, but in terms of finishing above the D, Lillard's got the advantage over Paul by a large margin.
And stop being such a dick, until you can say something logical (and back it up) I'm not going to gratify you with any responses.
@Andrew, how is this jackass still allowed here?
Mon Dec 22, 2014 3:38 am
Trust me, we all ask that question. But eh, he sometimes has a point.
