CHARLOTTE HORNETS ARE BACK!

Well if you've been paying attention recently.
The Charlotte Bobcats are now in the process of changing their name back to the Charlotte Hornets.
With that being said lets see some designs.

haha i said it a while back....

but i predicted New Orleans would Be the Jazz and Utah would become the Bobcats as well.... so, I was wrong on that part... But I totally called Charlotte becoming the Hornets again. When everyone laughs the Pelicans off the court every game because it is a stupid mascot/logo for a basketball team... watch them get moved to Seattle.

It makes for some slightly convoluted lineages in the history books, but it's a good move.

Once again, it's going to make the lineage a little confusing/convoluted in the history books, but given the popularity of the name and the fact it originated there, good move. Presumably it's still not going to happen until next season at the earliest, so it'll be interesting to see what they come up with as far as the logos are concerned.

i am just going to pretend that the hornets have always been the hornets and the pelicans were the bobcats.

Jordan: Team will use same colors as old Hornets

Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan says his team will use purple and teal as its primary colors when it changes its name to the Hornets next season.

Those are the same colors players wore when the Hornets were in Charlotte from 1988-2002, before the franchise moved to New Orleans. The new color scheme will be accented by secondary colors of black, gray and light blue.

It's smirking because the hornet is taking a dump on the team for being terrible.

Epic video. Very cool twist on an old design. Better than the lazy Jazz and 76er efforts.

So did the pelicans abandon their history? I'm guessing the bobcats will get rid of theirs
