SlamBall

Postby TRUball on Sat Aug 16, 2003 4:06 am

I really like SlamBall, i started watching it last year and it was GREAT. It is sweet, with aspects of many sports in it. If I don't get into the NBA i am going for SlamBall :D My fav player is Sean "Inches" Jackson on the Mob. He is the Allen Iverson of SlamBall. You know what is cool, kinda, not really, kobe's dad is a coach in it he coachs the Diablos. Post your opinions about the sport.

If u want to learn more about it go to SlamBall.net

The first time I saw the preview last year, I really thought it was going to be fun to watch. It was.. until this season when they removed the 3 Point Line. It doesn't show how good of a shooter a SlamBall player is because anyone can jump on a trampoline and do a dunk. SlamBall might be fun to play in person but it's boring when they play it on TV. It's also hard to tell the difference from the players because their gear are so alike and the camera angles don't show enough of their faces. In basketball, you can see easily tell the difference between the players and that's what I like about it. And the commentators bore me

they didn't remove it. It just isn't in effect intill the the last 2 minutes. No everyone can't just jump on a trampaline a dunk. Like in the leading up to the draft thing of slamball there was lots of guys that couldn't dunk. But also there is a guy called a stopper down there and he makes sure u don't dunk. There is more to slamball than it seems. But saying anyone can dunk from jumping on a trampaline is like saying anyone can throw a ball into a basket or something. There is alot more to it. And i personally find it really fun to watch. But that is your opinion so...

I realize that it takes skill to play it but I just don't find it as fun as other sports.

STan "Shakes" Fletcher and the guy "Inches" in SlamBall are f!ckin ridiculous.

The first thing they gotta do is get Shawn Marion out the broadcast booth immediatly! He is worst than Tim Hardaway! Does Marion know the f!ckin Language?

"Uhhh Yeah He Good."

"G, G, Great pla, p, p...slam on that one."

"Yeah he, ha Ha, That was, That Was Tight."

I love Slamball. Especially the dunk contest! :) ! Sh8kes is awesome he really knows how to bend the rules without breaking them and inches is good too.

They need to bring the 3 pt line back but its srill fun to watch.

I dont think he knows anything about the game. He probably just says it so you know he's there(even though it would be better if he wasnt). TNN or Spike TV thinks they can boost ratings with a real NBA Star to show that the NBA watches too.

That hit was massive. My fav guy is Shakes, see taht play where he bounces it off the tramp catches it throws it up in the air switches tramps, then dunks. Also anyone see the thing about training the slamball rookies where the guy screwed up his ankle. Damn! That musta hurt.

phpBB [video]
Allen Iverson passing on family values:

A.I.: son, what you doing there?
A.I.'s son: practicing my math for my test tommorow
A.I: practice? practice? we talkin' 'bout practice. not the test - practice. we talkin' 'bout practice. not the test, not the test - practice.
