Unbelievable. Despite it being a perfect 72 and sunny day, a power outage happened in the third quarter, and I missed the Celtics' baffling upset of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and LeBron's last game as a Cleveland Cavalier.
The Celtics played great in this series, and they seem to match up well with Orlando. Despite that, I believe that Orlando is hands down the best team in the NBA, and thus, I am picking them to advance in 6 games. (Thanks for not making a thread in my absence)

If the magic coaching staff is worth a damn at all: they'll be able to contain the celtics
Then again: Vince Carter is on the Magic and if he wins a ring, I may have to grow legs or something else i never thought would happen.
Went with Boston in 7 due to VC's presence on the magic and all of these reasons: KG's quietly focused, The Allen tandem (both of them) are having good nights, Pierce seems to have woken up from his slump he had going there and Rondo is making a case to get into the conversation of "Williams, Nash, or Paul...or Rondo?" The Celtics are doing something they havent done in months: look like they give a fuck. They're kinda dangerous when they care.
Personally pulling for the Suns to win it all at this point...but for this series sticking with C's in 7

Keep in mind that unlike Miami and Cleveland, Orlando isn't a one-man-offense.

Picking the Magic in seven, hoping for a Magic/Suns Finals (but expecting Magic/Lakers or Lakers/Celtics again).

The Magic has been played like a team to beat in the playoffs, but do they have enough to pass by Boston's D? Perkins and Kevin Garnett(Sheed & Davis as well) are great theat inside which Dwight hasn't faced in previous two series, and Boston's D also contained Lebron, which means VC also has a tough task ahead of him. Nelson however has been a good floor commander so I am really excited to see how they will try to break down the Celtics' D. In the end, I think awakened Celtics will have enough depth and talents to win this series. My guess is 6 in Celtics' favor.

i picked the celts in 6 as i truely believe they are the best TEAM in the game right now. not gonna take anything away from the magic, they are damn good and playing really well right now, i just like the celtics team. when they all click together like they have been they are damn near unstoppable.

Tough to call I guess. But the way the Celtics have been playing I might go with the Celitcs in 7. And no more LeBron this time, it's safe to watch TV again.

Celtics in 6, I like to see them vs the Lakers

This one is a tough call. Right now the Celtics are on the top of their game but I don't think they have enough to stop the Magic in this one. I'm hoping for, and also expecting, a great series, I'm going with the Magic in seven.

Magin in 7 keep in mind Orlando has had their troubles with Boston this season too and they barely beat Boston last yr in the playoffs w/o KG. I expect a very good series.

And that Magic team didn't have Jameer Nelson, Ryan Anderson, Brandon Bass, Vince Carter, Matt Barnes, or Jason Williams and was relying on an average-at-best player to be their only playmaker so...

All im saying is I dnt feel like Boston will go down so easy. It isnt like they dont have the players and bench to Matchup with Orlando.

Magic in 6. And then they'll sweep the Suns in the Finals.

Come and look at BOTH OF OUR BUILDINGS.
EDIT: I can't believe a Vince Carter joke didn't make it on. Magic in 7.

i picked magic in 7 because they are really-really good this season. Carter's doing fine, Howard is Howard.....but on the other hand boston team is awesome too...very hard to decide which one is better... i really don't know, i like rondo very much, the way he play this season he elevates celtics game to the new level, but Magic's playoff record number says for itself 8-0!!! hope for D12 and VC to win this!

I think this calls for that video.
Back to the topic, I think if the Celtics hold down Superman, they might win this series, as long as Vince Carter and Jameer Nelson don't explode. I think Magic in 6.

The celtics are having a bit of a lead, hoping they can take game 1.
Mon May 17, 2010 8:28 am
1-0.
Celtics won the first game, they were leading with 10+ for a long time,Magic came back at the end, tough luck.

damn celtics let the magic in it again. held on for the win though so all is good. 1 down 3 to go

Has a long break between series EVER been a good thing for a team? Celtics played pretty well today, but the Magic just looked shitty overall.
I think the Rasheed/Perkins combo frustrated Howard to the point of pure anger, similar to this:
Mon May 17, 2010 8:37 am
Got to give some credits to the Magics for not giving up on the game. Howard really needs to learn some post moves
Mon May 17, 2010 9:16 am
So its not just Cleveland. I think Celtics basketball has been restored but not to its original state of course. Perkins did a really good job on Dwight. And every team seems to forget about Ray Allen. But really though the Magic couldve won this one. Finally at the end of the game they started to adjust to the Celtics style of play but then it was too late. But yeah Carter and Nelson had a great game but the rest of the supporting cast needs to step up because Dwight is really going to struggle finishing in the paint in this series.

Still think Orlando wins this in 6. The Magic had a week off, got jack shit from Dwight and Ra$hard, and still only lost by 4. It was a bad idea to write off the C's like I did a month ago though, and they very well could win this series (and the championship!)
