Couldn't be bothered to enroll or whatever and my vote wouldn't really count, but my votes would have looked like:

Shaq-Bosh-Lewis-Carter-Rondo
Oden-Dirk-Carmelo-Roy-Nash

Guys like Kobe, Wade, Howard, LBJ are givens, so no point in voting for them.

How can anybody in good conscience or the ability to see things vote Deron over Paul?

Because Paul is a lock to make the all-star game and Deron has been snubbed the last 3 years?

An all-star game is not a career-achievement award. Also, there are 4 PGs in the west playing better than Deron right now.

That's what the subsequent votes are for. ;) The first time around I went the fanboy route, the next time I vote I'll pad the totals of the players I feel are the most deserving (and for the most part, will be voted in anyway).

East:

G: Dwyane Wade

F: Chris Bosh
F: Lebron James
C: Dwight Howard

West:

G: Chris Paul
G: Kobe Bryant
F: Carmelo Anthony
F: Dirk Nowitzki
C: Amare Stoudemire

The only one in there that I don't really want playing is Amare, but he's better than the rest of the other centers in my opinion.
