Watching the end of the cavs/Celtics... And Yeah a pretty close game to start the season. Also watching the Bulls/Bucks. Lebron missed a key FT and Varajeo just had a stupid foul. Anyone else watching?

Shut the hell up Doobie. We're watching.
Wed Oct 29, 2008 12:53 pm
And now we are watching the Blazers and Lakers.... Radman started over Odom.
Wed Oct 29, 2008 12:56 pm
I can't believe they are starting their worst player.
Wed Oct 29, 2008 1:06 pm
Odom had the PASS OF THE YEAR!
He passed it to Vujacic, who was standing by the bench, in his warm-ups.

What I can say of the Celts Cavs game is that Leon Powe has balls
Wed Oct 29, 2008 1:08 pm
Wow Oden struggled big time, maybe he is just nervous?
Wed Oct 29, 2008 1:12 pm
Hmmm... Did Trevor Ariza learn how to shoot 3's after he left New York? He had no perimiter shot at all when he played for the Knicks, now he smoothly sinks a 3. His form didn't look half bad either.

Where were you during the Finals?

Lamrock wrote:I can't believe they are starting their worst player.
Well, he did win the MVP award last year.
Wed Oct 29, 2008 2:44 pm
I see what you did there.
Wed Oct 29, 2008 2:51 pm
Lol.
On a more serious note, bad news for Portland concerning Greg Oden. Some problem with his foot, and on a good note Rudy Fernandez is playing awesome.
Wed Oct 29, 2008 3:25 pm
You cant compare The Finals and the Inaugural game...
Men... he's motivated all the time...
Thank god my sister isn't his girlfriend...
I'm still thinkin WHY THE SUNS TRADED RUDY FERNANDEZ
just idiots
Wed Oct 29, 2008 3:47 pm
Loving the
Odom to Vujacic that Doobie mentioned.
Reminds me of the time where he inbounds the ball by
dribbling in.

And another
one.
Wed Oct 29, 2008 5:20 pm
That just shows the excellence of Odom's court vision. Next Magic Johnson!
Alejandrov011 wrote:You cant compare The Finals and the Inaugural game.
Yeah, opening night games are more pressure-packed than some lousy Finals.

They did trade Marion for Shaq, so no surprise on the Rudy trade.

"BUT SHAQ GIVEZ THEM BETTER CHANCE OF WINNING"
I think.
The thing about that odom pass, at least TNT replayed it. If it happened on ESPN they'd goto a close up of a referee or something pathetic. God I hate their coverage.

No opening night games on Foxtel but I caught most of the second half of Bulls/Bucks on SopCast. Suns/Spurs tomorrow.

It is opening night for the rest of the NBA so lets keep this thread alive.
Thu Oct 30, 2008 9:34 am
Raptors at Phily, Dalembert has 9 off boards and 15 overall, mid way through third quarter!
Thu Oct 30, 2008 9:42 am
Knicks game starting now. And yea Sam is having a great game for the sixers.
Thu Oct 30, 2008 9:49 am
Guess which team has the most nervous and depressed fans in the NBA right now?
Thu Oct 30, 2008 9:52 am
Depressed has been the knicks the last few years, but I'm 100% sure you are talking about the Blazers..
Anyways, Knicks got off to a great start and I almost cried tears of joy when Curry was announced as a reserve.
Thu Oct 30, 2008 10:08 am
And now Danilo makes his debut. We will watch what he does right now.
Thu Oct 30, 2008 10:13 am
Are my eyes lying to me?
on Yahoo, it syas Miami and New York have only scored 2 points each in the 2nd quarter with only 2 mins remaining in the quarter...
EDIT: End of half, each team scored just 6 points each...
Thu Oct 30, 2008 10:14 am
Yeah your eyes are lying to you. Knicks are up 28-27 at the end of the first. Danilo looks extremely nervous, passing up his first open 3, and missing a 2 point shot, and then missing another open 3.
