Yahoo Fantasy Basketball

I'm not sure if this is the right section for me to post this, but I thought... ehh... might as well.

I'm sure that this has been done before, but it'd be fun to have a NLSC fantasy league. I always play Fantasy Basketball... and well, it'd be nice to be in a league that will actually be competitive.

Anyone interested?

Probably gonna be a basic-format league, nothing too special... more of a for fun kinda thing.

played twice. and won once. but most fantasy league players get lazy when they start losing and in the end, there's like only 2-3 guys playing by the playoffs. that's a big let down.

however, i support the idea. this should be fun.

We usually put fantasy NBA topics in the Sports Lounge though I'm not sure why since they're NBA related after all. I don't see why it can't stay here.

As for the league, I'll have to give it a miss myself. I'm not all that keen on fantasy sports and the last thing those leagues need is someone who's not really into it and not actively taking part half the time.

If we need more people for an "official one" just let me know. I'll set my draft picks (if possible) and never participate again. (If not asked for trades obviously.)

I haven't done a league in years, ever since I picked Mehmet Okur (first year in Utah) and a bunch of other "bums" and finished second. I think everyone in the league died though. Sometime in February I sent a bunch of trade offers, and didn't even get rejections.

Well, I'm pretty damn ready to do this.

It's nothing "official", just a kinda for fun thing... to get some competition in Yahoo Fantasy for a change. This will have nothing to do with the other fantasy leagues going on from this side... just a "for fun" kinda thing.

I'll set up a regular league, would you guys rather have a head-to-head or a rotisserie league?

I'll leave the other settings the way Yahoo has it... basic positions and two utility spots...

Autopick draft because of the time zones and all...

Yet again, just a for fun thing.

well, if you wanna do a "just for fun" thing, then I would recommend joining Doobie's league. personally, I liked the set up of the league we did last year.

Q may I ask how come there is no bench at all? This basically means you don't need to set your rosters and the only thing you go on to do is check if you won or pick up/ drop people or trade right?
