He's either just too one-dimensional, or he's just not suited for the NBA level.

he's tied to the bench for the Magic where he will remain for a long time. Given Magics upcoming salary status they just might find the SG void (Carter?) which will further chain him down.

I remember he was injured a bit early on but I dont know if thats whats been holding him out. They have so many guards down in Orlando anyways, as yall said, so its tough for him to get decent PT. I really wanted him to do well but I guess we are stuck with the waiting game.

The Magic have Dooling, Arroyo, Nelson, Bogans and Hill ahead of him in the depth charts... He's definitely going to be chained to the bench at least for the time being.

Well, he did play 9 minutes in a loss to Indiana a few days ago, but that was due to back spasms from Dooling.

No he played garbage minutes after the Pacers had already clearly won the game.

Did you guys watch him at duke? the boy can shoot the lights out and he can pass semi-well...but he cant do ANYTHING else anytime i've watched him. Sure i'm sure he's improved through camp and training, but he still has a long way to go. I'm seeing a steve kerr type career once he hones his skills to be less of a liability while he's in.

When he can guard Bryant, Carter, Wade, and other NBA level SGs i'm sure he'll get some PT.

Who can guard Bryant, Carter, Wade and such? I was surprised to see your name next to that post, there's a reason those guys average up near 30 per game.

If they get their average against someone, that's fine. But you don't want guys dropping 40, 50, 60 point games against you which all those guys are capable of doing. Hinrich came in as mainly a shooter from Kansas and a defensive liability, but eventually built up his athleticism and usually took the dangerous 2 guards before Nocioni came on.

I'm just saying that playing 2 guard it's a reality Redick will have to face that he's eventually going to guard guys like Kobe & VC, and that's probably what coaches are afraid of.

My only point, it's not his offense that's stopping him from getting PT.

i still think he can score in the nba...korver has no moves and yet he scores 20 pts on a good shooting night...kyle korver is just a spot up shooter wyl redick can create space for himself and moves better w/o ball...

Kyle Korver is not just a spot up shooter. If you've ever watched him when Iverson is not on the floor, making all the moves on offense, you'd see the other stuff he has to his game. He has the ablitily to create all sorts of shots on the offensive end.

He's also 3 inches taller than Reddick and plays better defense.

He will be at least a decent backup eventually. Just give him some time. Overall, this rookie class is terrible though.

What is epic about this? At all? You people are disgusting.

Throwing epic around for boring and stupid things is one of the worst things the internet has done to this planet.

Did you even read the thread?
