Then I had to get on the court and get my individual workout done. Even though I am not at home I still do need to get it in.
Started off by getting my shooting workout in. I run through a number of drills on court to make sure I am always working on my game. In order to continue to get better you can't take time off

No wonder his back is fucked up. His form when lifting weights is absolutely terrible. And his arms are twice as big as his calves.
Tue Sep 05, 2006 5:05 am
that was when he has back fucked up, he is now healthy, don't worry there is a houston traning camp, and a month to pre season games and this video is prety old
Tue Sep 05, 2006 5:42 am
Damn I wish I had a workout room and gym like that in my house. I hope he's healthy for a full season next season.
Tue Sep 05, 2006 5:55 am

Indeed. And his personal trainer doesn't correct him. Damn, if he continues to go like this, he'll end up in the wheelchair

Stand still while lifting weights and don't "cheat" by using your body and back. That fu*ks you up.

I wouldn't be surprised if he has had that trainer for years. It's kind of strange that no one has picked up on his bad form and notified him, or even the team, about it. Because surely the team trainers and physicians must have noticed. Or if not them, someone else close to him.
And why, when he has had such serious back problems, doesn't he work on his back instead of (arm-) strength and quickness?
Tue Sep 05, 2006 11:22 am
T-mac will be back alright.....for a month then he'll break down as usual.
Tue Sep 05, 2006 12:41 pm
i think he is gonna have one of his best season this season, he might started out slow but once he gets going, hes as good as anyone
Tue Sep 05, 2006 1:21 pm
i reckon tmac will have a better season than iverson next year

He does have that trainer since very early in his career. I mean, so much money is being thrown into this guy and yet nobody tells him a big reason why his back is fucked up is that obvious and easily correctable? And you're right - what the hell do huge arms help you at basketball? You work on your core and balance the strength throughout your body, but this guy has arms twice the size of his legs. And that trainer is supposed to be a professional.

Tue Sep 05, 2006 7:13 pm
i would to if all the muscle in my back had a spastic fit
Tue Sep 05, 2006 11:32 pm
so for what is lebron james so muscular ??
Wed Sep 06, 2006 12:12 am
What, you think he spent his youth in the gym?

Mother nature gave him muscular body and his size. It's not like he has a skinny stature (don't know if that's the right word) and he built up all those muscles..

so for what is lebron james so muscular ??
Genetics. He was born lucky to have a natural muscular frame.

geez maybe t-mac should hire you guys as his personnal trainers instead. it looks like you guys know more then this guy
Thu Sep 07, 2006 3:18 pm
Every "amateur" that works out regularly (at least once per week) can notice that that's not the way to lift the weights (especially those shoulder raises

). Every fitness instructor/trainer always teaches you to not move your back/body while lifting weights. It hurts your BACK and joints terribly..It's not like we're being smartasses or something, it's just that that's really not the way to lift weights

...

They like to think they know more. Just becuase you leanr somthing from someone doesn't mean its right...
Fri Sep 08, 2006 10:14 pm
That doesn't apply to us, but to T-Mac. A basic rule of weighlifting says: keep a good form when lifting weights and don't move your back or you'll fuck it up. T-Mac has a bad form and a back form. We have a good form and healthy backs. Ergo, T-Mac and his trainer are wrong and everybody else are right.

Sorry if your workout regime strongly resembles T-Mac's, but I learned this "rule" not from someone, but from many sources and from several bodybuilding forums where there are guys in kinesthiology and work as professional bodybuilders. If you look in the newest bodybuilding and fitness books, they also mention that keeping a proper form is important to minimize injury.
