What are the Lakers and Knicks doing?

Happy my Heatles resigned Goatside. I was really concerned he would leave.

So done with the Lakers. Mozgov? Deng? What the fuck do they have to offer? Jesus.

Celtics get Horford and iirc, they can sign Durant with the remaining money too?

Warriors will match all offers they said, think Durant is leaning more to Boston or even a return to OKC now.

Yeah. KD's 70% going back to OKC and 30% going to Celtics I feel like. More juice tho? Durant released a pair of shoes inspired by the Celtics jersey in the regular season.

Mike Conley's contract is ridiculous. I know it's hard to determine market value right now because the cap is increasing and salaries are ballooning too, and he has become a pretty good player for the Grizzlies, but that's a contract that should be reserved for a top five player, which he most certainly is not. I think we're going to see a lot of mediocre to pretty good players being paid superstar money for decidedly less-than-superstar level performances.

I get the feeling we're going to see another lockout sooner rather than later.

Yeah I see your point it does kind of feel like when everyone was getting 100 million dollar contracts handed to them like Juwan Howard and Allan Houston not to say they didn't deserve to get paid but everyone was getting that sort of money back then just like Conley and DeRozen are getting now but I agree that this type of money should be reserved for the top tier players in the league.

I think Memphis gave him that contract just to stay.

Just when you thought the contracts of Rashard Lewis and Gilbert Arenas back in the day were ridiculous.

Durant's decision is reportedly coming tomorrow, and it's supposedly come down to the Thunder and Warriors.

Spoken like a true Celtics fan lol jk I happen to agree with you, not a fan of star players teaming up to create super teams. The Warriors don't need him to win and Durant damm near ended the Warriors season in OKC

Durant should just stay. He will be hated as much as LeBron when he went to Miami. Ditching your old team to a team you almost beat in a playoff series seems worse than what LeBron had done. If that ever happens I imagine Westbrook getting 50-20-20 in a playoff series with the Warriors with KD.
