07/08 Season Refresh

You know i think this season (07/08), has been one of the best i ever seen in My life:

-Fisher comes Back to the Lakers
-The Big Three form in Boston
-Orlando Magic start with a 14-2 run to start the season(beating boston)
-Portland Trailblazers go with their own run
-Andrew Bynum shows potinental
-Gasol Trade
-All Star Weekend, Boobie wins Rookie MVP, Celebertity Game(Chris Tucker!!!),
San Antionto wins the Team Award thing with Duncan and David Robinson, Deron Williams wins PlayStation Skills Challenge, Jason Kapaono gets a tying record with most shots and he wins the 3pt Challenge, and Dwight wins the Slam dunk Contest
-All Star Game=Nice with Allen hitting all 3's
-Ben Wallace/Joe Smith/Delonte West/Wally trade to Cleveland
-Bobby jackson goes to Houston and as Grelad Green too
-Damon stoudamire goes to San antiono
-Shaq goes to phoniex and Shawn marion goes to Miami
-Kidd goes to Dallas/Devin harris goes to New Jersey
-Houston 22 streak
-LA Finish top of west
-Playoffs were nice
-MVP= Kobe
MIP= Hedo turkglo
ROY= Kevin Durant
DP= Kevin Garnett
6TH= manu giniobi

There's other seasons I'm partial to and I think there's plenty of other seasons that make just as strong a case as 2007/2008 as the best ever but it was definitely a fun season to watch. I'd have to say it's one of the best in recent memory, giving us a bit of everything from Day One. The Eastern Conference losing face with a few teams underachieving was disappointing though, fortunately the Playoffs were still interesting.

To sum it up, the Lakers, Hornets, and the Celtics provided a great turn-around story from last season. And the Mavericks too, though not on the side that you want them to be.

Exactly and don't forget Orlando with their last record 42-40 and now they got to 50 wins. And also Philly.

Absolutely, it was a memorable season. Fortunately the Donaghy scandal didn't manage to put too much of a damper on it, even with the allegations made during the NBA Finals.

There wasn't really anything strange about the way I phrased it. With all the attention it's received since the news broke last year I figured it was common enough knowledge to forego an explanation of who Donaghy is and what the scandal involves. Anyway, my point was that the season was still highly enjoyable despite all the scandal and allegations involving referees.

You know how happy David Stern must be with the 07/08 season and playoffs.
He must be wetting his pants with money everyday. Damn he is happy.

Overall I'd say he's happy, though he can't be too pleased about the ongoing referee scandals.
