As I can see... There are 11 players from the West! :O
Something surprising for me... there's nobody from Detroit...

How is Kobe Bryant the only unanimous selection? CP3 deserves some cred for what he's done with this season and I think he should've been a unanimous selection too.
EDIT: For those wondering, the NBA.com article lists Kobe as the only unanimous selection with all 127 voters going for him.

no nets players polled any votes

There's probably a couple of others players you could make a case for but those are good selections top to bottom.

I think the First team will look the same next year.
Obvious selections in my opinion.
Biggest snubs - probably Baron Davis and Chris Bosh.

wtf manu in 3rd??
and where's melo??

In 3rd team, would've been nice to see Camby & David West scrape in instead of Yao & Boozer, but overall, can't complain with the choices....

pierce should have been on second team

Generally good selections, but I think Iverson should be at least in the 3rd team. I don't know in what Ginobili or McGrady were better than him this season. In my opinion there should be Iverson and Baron Davis as guards in the 3rd.

Ginobili was the top scorer of the spurs and maybe the best spur in the season...
Carmelo didn' deserved a spot...

I second that

first team was an easy choice: the top 4 MVP candidates plus the best center in the league this year.

Yes, but Iverson was the 3rd scorer of the league and probably best Nugget. He had also many assists and steals, as always.

So the top 5 MVP candidates I'd say

West ahead of Boozer? Why?
I expect Amare to be 1st team next season instead of KG.

I think it depends on Boston's success next year.
With Shaq in Phoenix, Amare should qualify as a F instead of a C, so they will go head to head. I think as of right now KG has the edge obviously but things can change in a year.

Amare will put up better stats and will probably get the nod.

Yes... but The Spurs finished 3rd and the Nuggets 8th... And look how they are going in the playoffs...

So what if they were eighth. The standings of the Western teams are very close this year if you didn't notice.

Not to mention the Spurs also had an All-Second Team player as well. I would have put AI in Manu's place, but thats just me.

Of course but:
1. All-NBA Team nomination is an individual award, I think.
2. The difference between Spurs and Nuggets was only 6 wins. I don't know how, but Denver won those 50 games in regular
