Like if suddenly the Lakers franchise folded, there would be a RealGM retread thread here about it, the OP would say things like "this isn't a good thing for the city of Los Angeles," "This is a sad day for the NBA," "I wonder how this could have happened" etc.
I've seen people post stuff like "If Ray Allen and KG both sit out this game, the Celtics probably will have a tough time picking up a win." Oh really? Thanks for the insight!
Just real meaningless comments that express absolutely no opinion. I could go through and pull out ten examples from every thread below this one, but I'd rather not start calling people out...
And the borrowing/plagiarism is definitely part of the annoyance factor as well.

Wasn't I expressing the exact opposite viewpoint? Too many memes like "Kobe makes his teammates better!" for example?

I see. You are referring to expressing one's own opinion and not just stating a "borrowed" opinion. I was thinking more of opinions in general and not specific/individual opinions that you refer to. Carry on with you self-imposed NLSC banishment BK2.

I'm not really talking about any opinion at all. Saying that the Celtics might lose without Ray and KG is just noncommittal spam...
I'm not going to create some kind of ridiculous "I'm retiring!" thread...I come here from time to time...it's just that it's gone to hell once Live became arguably the worst sports game series on the market and all the people who still enjoy it (scary people, it seems) flock here to post.

If you're scared about people who still enjoy playing Live, imagine if EA's hostile takeover of Take Two pushes through. The NLSC will now have both Live and 2K gamers posting here. Assuming EA scraps or combines 2K with Live. More e-friends for you to argue with.

Not the sort of memes I was referring to. That being said, this place bores the living hell out of me these days. I go to RealGM if I want to have basketball discussions.
