With all-starters being revealed this week, and reserves soon after, its time to predict who will make the cut! Based on late voting returns for the starters, and overall play of the reserves, here are mine:
Western Conference:
C: Yao | Amare Stoudamire
PF: Duncan | Nowitzki
SF: Anthony | Josh Howard
SG: McGrady | Iverson
PG: Bryant | Nash | Paul | Baron Davis
Eastern Conference:
C: Howard | Rasheed Wallace
PF: Garnett | Bosh
SF: LeBron | Butler | Pierce
SG: Wade | Allen | Joe Johnson
PG: Kidd | Billups
Post your predictions!

East
C: Dwight Howard
F: Kevin Garnett
F: LeBron James
G: Dwyane Wade
G: Jason Kidd
Reserves:
Rasheed Wallace
Chris Bosh
Paul Pierce
Ray Allen
Chauncey Billups
Caron Butler
Richard Jefferson
West
C: Yao Ming
F: Tim Duncan
F: Carmelo Anthony
G: Tracy McGrady
G: Kobe Bryant
Reserves:
Amare Stoudemire
Dirk Nowitzki
Carlos Boozer
Allen Iverson
Steve Nash
Chris Paul
Josh Howard
However, if
McGrady passes on the All-Star Game, my pick is for Iverson to get the start and Baron Davis to be named as his replacement on the roster.

Hmm... if McGrady does pass on the game (which would be sweet, as in my opinion he doesn't deserve to be an all-star this year), I would also have AI starting, and penciling Carlos Boozer in, who I had on my original roster before switching to Baron.

West Starters
Amare Stoudamire (Explosive 2nd on Dunk List)
Tim Duncan (Great OVR player Master of the Glass)
Al Jefferson (Should be but Anthony more famous)
Kobe Bryant (He didnt rape that girl come on thats bs)
Chris Paul (More Points + Rebounds + Assists then Nash
East Starters
Dwight Howard Ooohow the C is dyingHoward is great but look at your other choices
Kevin Garnett (Bosh is playing better OVR but again KG is in BOS)
LeBron James (The King man only reason why CLE is worth watching at all)
Vince Carter (Wade is on MIA but playing great we shall see)
Jason Kidd ( Arenas was hurt and Kidd is OVR a better leader and PG safer bet)

Best reason ever to make the All-Star team.

I originally had Davis in there over Josh Howard but that left the West with an overload of guards and I don't think the coaches' picks will leave them with a roster that small unless someone like McGrady is being replaced. Tony Parker's another player who was hard to leave off the list and is probably going to be one of the first in line to be named as a replacement if necessary (if he doesn't end up making the team to begin with).

Honestly, Brandon Roy should've made the all-star team this year, but the West is way to packed with excellent guards and thats a good thing but I'm still upset.

Even though I didn't include him in my picks he probably has a chance of being selected if the coaches decide to give the Blazers a representative in the game. At the very least he's got to be on the shortlist of players who will get the call if someone on the West is unable to participate.

Yay, I beat Andrew.

But I believe SpaceFlare's 11/14 was the best prediction. Props to him.

I did indeed. What I meant to say of course is that I should have got 10/14 with the Jefferson prediction being correct.

No, I don't buy my story either.

Lamrock93 wrote:Yay, I beat Andrew.
You certainly did, but the way I jinx teams and players it's not necessarily a difficult thing to do.
