I agree. The guy could get 17/7/7 a game with enough minutes, and throw in a couple steals and a block a game. If he's a starter and plays for most of the game, he'd be a great stat stuffer.

Marcus Banks is another good one.



I also remember getting pissed off with San Antonio when they wouldn't play Steve Kerr during key end-game plays.

Yeah ... but Marvin was called a bust for a reason, although this was more Atlantas fault than his own.

They took him 2nd overall! They needed a point guard in the worst way! They took him over Deron Williams and Chris Paul for crying out loud!

The only way he wouldn't have been labeled a bust was if he'd become the next Jordan in his rookie season ...

But I doubt he'll be a star. Solid player yes, star - doubtful. He has still ways to go.

Marvin is averaging 15-6 at the moment in his 3rd year. He's not even 22 yet. Also consider that he's swamped at the foward position with a bunch of young up and coming players as well.
