I'm not too sure if this is grave digging, I just thought it would be interesting to review how it worked out for him.

In his comeback year in the Raptors he averaged 13 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. That's far from what I envisioned him to be able to do some time back, but still pretty much impressive, considering that it's his first year after the long break and all.

Anyway, since I didn't catch almost any Raptors games this season, I would like to ask, how is he looking? What are his capabilities in the NBA, how does he score most of his points? How does his defense look?

I have watched a few Raptors games this season, but I don't really recall much about Parker. He sorta reminded me of Raja Bell.

That should be a word.

I like it. Maybe a noun though.

EDIT: As you can tell I missed the thread the first time around.

I'd say he established himself as a very solid NBA player this season. There's a long way to go as far as being a superstar in the league but he's been a capable third option for the Raptors.

Anthony Parker can definitely play in the NBA....for most teams he would be a 6th or 7th man & for really crap ones he could possibly start....but he would make a pretty strong guy to have coming off the bench....if he landed in right situation, he could really help a playoff/championship contender....although he's got it sweet, so he ain't coming to NBA yet or maybe ever....

This is what I said about a year ago & I think I was quite close to the mark, which is that Parker is a really good 6th or 7th man for majority of teams in the league, but on the really crap ones or the teams that are weak at the SG position, he could possibly start....I'm not at all surprised by his season or what he's doing as he did it in Europe....I will be surprised if he starts for the next 4 or 5 years of his career....I expect him to go back to a 6th or 7th man role over the coming years....
