And we also have the right to ask why he thinks like that...and saying Shaq is the #7 center in the league is just like saying that Yinka Dare is The GOAT

sure you have the right.. but why even bother? you've seen what happens already when a situation like this arises... you guys are wasting your time and most likely creating a pointless conversation. and also it seems like you guys can't be content with other people not mentioning certain players on their lists

thanks for the " ". i'm flattered someone would give me one...

perhaps we should turn this into the lakers forum... first off, i don't think MJ isn't even a top 5 guard this past season  actually i'd be surprised if someone did put him in their top 5 guard list. speaking of squealing, go figure it was psycho and mvp who start doing so when certain laker players were left off top 5 lists.

anyway i'm not going to bother debating about someone's list. again, it doesn't bother me who is on/left off people's top 5 lists. besides, i'm guessing diesel put that list together knowing it would get on certain people's nerves on this forum.

wtf....U really think we did that because it are Lakers players?....even if it was Kevin Garnett, Tracy McGrady ect....I would do the same thing....but its just plain dumb to put Nesterovic and Allen/Finley over Shaq and Kobe isnt it, I can ask him why he thinks like that...thats what I did, and then he comes with a "Lakers record in the beginning of the season story".....thats not enough, I want to know more.

If I remember correctly, werent you the guy that brought kobe up in another thread a few weeks ago? And I was the one who asked you, not to bring him up? Just remind me...
So now when we bring him up, its a bad thing? Its the same case as you keep bringing up kobe whenever you feel like dissing him.

limpdilznik wrote:i'm still waiting for your cries of garnett being left of the lists. oh wait, that's right- certain lakers players being left out caused you to overlook it, right?

Ehm, the reason we brought up Kobe & Shaq is because it's a known fact that Jason Duncan hates Shaq & Kobe and that's the only legitimate reason as to why he left out those two players, If you dont see that by now...good riddance.
There are few threads, in which Jason Duncan hasnt said, Kobe sux or that Shaq is too fat...thats the reason we said Shaq & Kobe before mentioning Garnett becuz, we're already used to him saying stupitiy about those before mentioned players...

Props to you to try and save Jason Duncan, but I know that wasnt the point of you posting your message, you just wanted to get in on the Laker thing, very few discussions (that involved the lakers) have gone, without you posting some sarcastic-ass remark bout the lakers. And then you ave the nerve, to say that "us laker fans" always seem to bring up Kobe &/Or Shaq...You instigate more laker fans than anyone else on this board I think...You bring the Lakers up, and when we tend to do the same you get annoyed...man...piss off...

Edit: Just to show how Limpdilznik works...

a thread about PIPPEN (NOT KOBE) Pippen, Mr Dilznik wrote:yeh but not as funny about the speculation of your hero, mr adulterer, being gay

(Y) Now you know what I'm talking bout in my post.

i agree with dilznik on this, this is an opinion post...... and do you really expect jason duncan to have insightful, intelligent, unbias opinions? no one with a brain takes him seriously half the time, if you want to get back at him just post a list without duncan, kidd, and pierce. yeesh.

actually no. there have been top 5, best ever, best ever at his position, etc threads, and i haven't made any complaint of jordan being on or off any of those lists. go do a search if you like. please stop with these assumptions  btw- i like those new icons. i hope you get just as much satisfaction as i do receiving them when you send them

If I remember correctly, werent you the guy that brought kobe up in another thread a few weeks ago? And I was the one who asked you, not to bring him up? Just remind me...
So now when we bring him up, its a bad thing? Its the same case as you keep bringing up kobe whenever you feel like dissing him.

you're missing the point here. and i missed the part when i said jordan was my favorite player. feel free to diss jordan whenever/if you want. it doesn't bother me. but when comments are made about adulterer , that's another story for you... anyway, carry on with your squealing...

Ehm, the reason we brought up Kobe & Shaq is because it's a known fact that Jason Duncan hates Shaq & Kobe and that's the only legitimate reason as to why he left out those two players, If you dont see that by now...good riddance.

sounds to me you want to just start another flame war. you say you know the reason behind his thinking. and you already know how the guy is going to react if you call him out. let it be geez...

Props to you to try and save Jason Duncan, but I know that wasnt the point of you posting your message,

thanks for the props. and you got it wrong... the reason for me joining the discussion so you wouldn't instigate a worthless flame session w/diesel. you guys want him to say certain laker players deserve to be in the top 5 lists yet the topic here is asking for his own opinion of who is top 5 at each position. repeat, his own opinion....

very few discussions (that involved the lakers) have gone, without you posting some sarcastic-ass remark bout the lakers.

ok genius, add this thread to it too. outside of the adulterer gay thing, i think i've made relevant comments in the discussions invovling lakers and/or their fans

And then you ave the nerve, to say that "us laker fans" always seem to bring up Kobe &/Or Shaq

yes i do have the nerve, you're the ones bringing them up most of the time, not me.

You instigate more laker fans than anyone else on this board I think...You bring the Lakers up, and when we tend to do the same you get annoyed...man

how often am i bringing the lakers up? not counting topics invovling the lakers?? only one time comes to mind

piss off...

geez no need to get so personal. i don't really care about those pretty icons you send me, but comments like this one is uncalled for and unncessary

on a serious note, this forum is nothing like it used to be. pretty much it's filled with "LOL comments", flame war, or trashing some player or posters getting upset/defensive when comments are made about a certain players. i joined the discussion in hopes to avoid it from becoming a flame war. but pretty much i'm getting flamed! flamed for what? i don't even know. just cuz of the adulterer being gay comment?? the rest of my lakers comments have been backed with logic or some kind of evidence/facts.

Boy, them laker fans are starting to sound a bit defense aren't they?
This is an opinion column. take it with a grain of salt. Why get all offensive when someone doesn't like your beloved Kobe & Shaq? Just deal with it. How fun would it be if everyone had the same freaking list? Tons of you guys left out Yao Ming from the top 5 centers. I'm still wondering why.

Because he is not a top 5 center in the league IMO, and I suspect he is not in other's people opinions or else he would of been there. :P

Oh ya, your right cause they always had Cliff Robinson at the center on starting line-ups, but wallace played more center than him.

Since he played PF last season I didn't include him in the Top 5 Centres. But if he's to be listed as a centre...slot him in at 3rd, bump Ilgauskas off my list.

This is my OPINION...

Center:
5. Rasho...(I'm not sure how good Zo will be this season!)
4. Ilguskus
3. Yao Ming (If Yao can play more aggresive, I guess he could be No. 2)
2. Brad Miller
1. Shaq (MDE...I don't need to explain!)

Power Forward:
5. Karl Malone (He can still ball at...wat is he?? 39??)
4. Ben Wallace (It's a shame he can't play offence as good as his D)
3. Dirk Nowitski
2. Kevin Garnett (Will he ever get past the First Round???)
1. Tim Duncan (MVP,MVP,MVP...I still hate San Antonio!)

Small Forward:
5. Vince Carter (Judging from his Team USA games...he's back!)
4. Ron Artest (Great Defender)
3. Pierce (Is he a SF or SG???)
2. Shareef Abdur-Rahim (Should be an Eastern All-star Starter)
1. Shawn Marion (Go Matrix!)

Shooting Guard:
5. Michael Finley (He is very underrated cause of Nash/Nowiski)
4. Ray Allen (Still one of the best shooters in NBA, IMO)
3. Allen Iverson
2. Tracy Mcgrady (Very close between T-Mac,AI and K8)
1. Kobe Bryant

Point Guard:
5. Steve Nash (If Stock wasn't gone...)
4. Starbury
3. The Glove (Is he still in his prime- at 34?)
2. Jason Kidd (Wat can I say??)
1. Steve Francis (He is awesome! I think he's better than Kidd at some things...)

Honourable Mention:
Centers: Kandiman and Zo
Power Forwards: Chris Webber, Amare Stoudamire, Elton Brand and Sheed
Small Forwards: Mashburn, Peja and Odom
Shooting Guards: Jason Richardson and Stackhouse
Point Guards: Tony Parker, Arenas and B Diddy

Well...that's my list and I'll also include a top 5 potential List...guys who should be stars in the near future:
5. Kwame Brown (C) I see a breakout season and him as No. 1 for Wiz
4. Darko Miicic (PF) / Chris Bosh (PF) ...depends on their GT
3. Desmond Mason (SG)
2. Melo Anthony (SF)
1. Lebron James (PG)
