Im pretty sure Nash cant dunk... at least not now anyway. Maybe when he was younger...

http://www.mcps.k12.md.us/schools/chevy ... e_nash.htm
His idol when he grew up was Michael Jordan. They are almost exactly alike but there is one thing that make them different. It is that Michael Jordan can dunk and Steve Nash can't come anywhere close to being able to dunk.

The site seems pretty crappy, but its the closest thing to a fact on this...

During thegame against Maccabiin France,he stole the ball and dribbled all the way to the basket, stopped, and to try showing the french audience some good shit from their superstar,he attempted a dunk, the ball was bumped into the rim,and Parker fell and had backaches for like 3 minutes. XD

i've seen him dunk in an NBA commercial.

Lol oi nah... we're talking about the Laker rookie point guard yeh? That was one of his flaws to his game when i was reading various scout reports - his lack of athleticsm.

God dammit, why am i always wrong with these things.

Wait, no...

His main weakness was lack of athletiscm. They may not have been talking about vert as such, but you can see what put me under the impression that a 42 inch vert sounds ridiculous.

So yeah, maybe i wasnt wrong, and whoever wrote that wiki article is. :P

I like DraftExpresses best/worst case scenario:

Best Case Scenario:
Steve Nash

Worst Case Scenario:
Mateen Cleaves

The stadium announcer in Live always calls him Gomez - cracks me up every time. :P

For the person who didn't know Mugsy Bogues, he was the short NBA player in Space Jam (the greatest movie ever).

As I said, I won't believe it till I see it. Although I did find this:

National Basketball Association Statistics Officer Stephanie Smith wrote:"Spud Webb was (and is) considered to be a top 'small-dunker' in professional Basketball. However, since 1968 Spaulding sporting goods has held a biannual Robert T. Spaulding 'High Dunk' contest, in which Mugsy Bogues placed first in 1990, 1992, and 1994. In 2002 these statistics were added to the Official Record of Basketball Statistics (possibly due in part to its similarity to the NBA Slam Dunk contest and the inclusion of off-duty NBA referees as judges), and it was by this inclusion that the National Basketball Association now considers Bogues, a 3-time High Dunk winner and a constant top-5 Slam Dunk contender, to be one of the most skilled, and certainly the shortest, executor of dunks in the history of the NBA."

Maybe I'm missing something, the website is called Gullible Info

I think everybody in NBA can dunk now... Look at the 5'11 (?) Nate Robinson, he can dunk like THAT! So why couldn't those 6'0 PG's at least dunk... Just dunk but not those fancy ones Nate does.

Indy, I'm not so sure about that. I read an interview that said:

Chuck: Muggsy be honest with me. Can you dunk?

Muggsy: I tipped one in college and dunked in high school. I can still touch the rim. I've always been a guy who has been able to get off my feet. I've still got a little hop to my game.

Muggsy himself claims he dunked, but not exactly quite often.
