Just remember if Houston ever has success in the future it will be because of Yao, Not Franchise.

They arent making the shoe just to sponsor the player they are doing it to make more money. I think nike is doing better things than adidas. They have a ton of nba players not just bron, melo and kobe.

Exactly. DipSetVC, it's not the expressed wishes of these shoe and apparel companies to necessarily sign the best NBA players; it's their job to sign the most marketable players.

The company that's headed in the right direction these days happens to be Adidas. After signing The 2002-2003 NBA scoring leader Tracy McGardy to a lifetime deal 3 years ago, Adidas has also inked Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett, all of these guys are top 5 in the league and all have good reps.

I disagree. Look at both Duncan's and Garnett's collective failure in selling shoes. I like the McGrady signing, but big men don't sell shoes as well as guards and swingmen.

Just remember if Houston ever has success in the future it will be because of Yao, Not Franchise.

Like kobes_4real said, 21 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 6.2 APG, 1.7 SPG. I think Van Gundy will give Yao more touches this year (a good thing), but how can you discredit Francis' impact on the team? :?
