he's just some old backup center for the clips cause he wont get big minutes and when he was a starter for the jazz his stats werent big and now he's getting fewer minutes and his stats are smaller too...but he can teach something to the young centers of lac.

maybe he rested one season and will improve this one, cause something
must he learned when playing with the Harlem Globetrotters

he's the replacement for Rooks...but i think Rooks is a little better than him

Seems like he'll actually make it past training camp this time.

Olden Polynice will long be remained as the guy that the Sonics got for Scottie Pippen on draft day '87. Wise move by the Sonics? Hmmmm. Not especially.

he will never measure up to be worthy of that trade, seattle bombed big time there. but if he stays focused and in shape he can help the clippers out some. he probably doesn't have the physical ability to play many minutes anymore, but when he is focused he can be a pretty good defensive player. he was too inconsistent and unfocused to be a bigtime player, but coming out of college he did have enough skills to be considered a potential dominant bigman. he can plug the middle for the clips on defense, maybe block a few shots, but i don't expect much on the offensive end from him. decent pickup, but not gonna push them over the edge to playoff bound.

i believe his back could supply LC's inner defence
and Wang could supply inner offence
so it's a good choice for LC signing him

there are more chance I think that he will be released after the training camps like andrew mentionned. he may not even be on the roster on the opening night.

Polynice comes too old to make it once again in the NBA

Sat Aug 09, 2003 11:38 am

I think he's fighting for a roster spot.

On a lighter side, I think he would do a more fake police job in the LA area than play for the Paper Clips :D

Pippen wouldn't have seen much playing time behind Ellis, McDaniel, Chambers, and McKey...so...it was an entirely logical deal...

olden-pointless and useless player.

Jason duncan-pointless, useless member

I think that olden will just get injured this year and end his career. I don't think he can have any kinda of a comeback the most he averages this year is like 8 points and 6 boards, but i think he i will average 3.5 and 2.0 this year or even less.

As I said in the other thread, if you have a problem with jason kidd's posts, just ignore them.

jason kidd, I've asked you before, please try to make a more positive contribution to the forum.

ok andrew.
i thinked he is too old to play bball.he´s time is over.

Sun Aug 10, 2003 8:26 pm

you are very very patient andrew ! that's great because you take wiser decisions but in the same this is not the first warning towards jason kidd... now he knows that nobody approves his behaviour and you shall take some actions (delete some of his posts, disable his sig, add a "troll" range)

people are getting angry and it's normal. that's irritating to see him trolling without having the smallest sanction. Letting him unpunished would be unfair

Sun Aug 10, 2003 8:30 pm

ok, jason kidd posted a message while i was writing mine.

we might delay the sanction to the next "mistake" of jason kidd

I understand where you're coming from, but there's no justification for flaming either. I think I might have to expand and make amendments to the forum rules. But I want this whole situation to be settled first.

Sun Aug 10, 2003 8:41 pm

ok :) hope the situation will be solved as soon as possible

Sun Aug 10, 2003 10:41 pm

wow, olden the old goat is still around.
i thought he retired.
