LOL, this is 2 funny, from ESPN.com

OFFICIAL STRIKE AGAINST LA CLIPPERS & DONALD STERLING

Donald Sterling cares nothing about winning in the nba and only cares about money. It is understandable that he wants to get money seeing how he is a buisness man, but he is horrible. He does just enough hto keep the Clippers from being the worse team so that he can not be kicked out of the nba like an old Cav owner was for doing pretty much the same thing Sterling is doing now. He refuses to pay his players and lets them go to other teams just so he can save a couple extra bucks. Example, why draft Chris Kaman, all you have to do is re-sign Kandi-man, but of course Kaman will cost less. But in 4 more season he will let Kaman go to a title contender like the Spurs and drat another rookie center to replace him. The Clipps have a ton of cap room, but will not spend it. It is like there is only 28 team competing for the title, or at least want it. I know other teams * or might even tank a season here or there...but the Clippers, I mean, Donald Sterling is horrible and something needs to be done.

We, not only Clipper fans, but nba fans in general need to stop this. 76ers wiritter Steven A. Smith had a great idea....STOP SUPPOTING THE TEAM. Sterling has no reason to change his ways cus he is getting paid! From here on, let's stop going to Clipper games, lets stop buying any Clipper merchandise and lets force Sterling to put a competive team on the floor if he wants to make money.

But we all have to work togther, post this message all over any board you may post on. Pass it along to every nba fan you know, to newspapers...to everyone. Let's all do this!

NBA fan
Joffrey..

Funny thing is that I never really supported the Clippers in the first place.

The owner is just plain cheap, I hope some day he would sell the team to some owner who is committed on building this team into a contender.

About a boycott, hmm i guess i can join too :D

Some of the decisions Sterling has made have turned out to be not so bad, but the Clippers still don't seem to have any long term plans. Rather than attempting to bargain with free agents, Sterling seems quite happy to let them walk rather than trying to come to an agreement or get something in return.

I remember reading an article a while ago that did a pretty good job of summing up the situation. It basically said the problem with the Clippers is that the member of the front office who is holding them back happens to be the only guy who can't be fired. Sterling should be trying to meet players half way, or at least be looking for Plan B. Instead he makes his point by refusing to open his wallet, and at the end of the day it hurts the Clippers.

I really think its a shame cuz the clippers with the lineup they had, they should have been able to crack the playoffs in favour of the suns i believe, brand and odom at their best combined with solid play of kandi man and andre miller would fulfill the demands but it turned out differently, but at times it seems to be more the case with players in their last year of their contract, or they have a great year, or they have a bad year and miller definately had the worst year of his until then good career

It doesn't really affect me since I'm not a Clippers fan, but it's a subject that I can take interest in as a fan of basketball and the NBA.

It can be interesting, but I don't see how people can get all mad about some owner of a team you don't care for doesn't know how to handle things. Boycotting them and such... that might've been fun in kindergarten...

There is one good thing about the Clippers, and that is that they make a premo team to start a franchise with in NBA live. They always have cap room, and loads of young talent.

Agreed. I find it an interesting topic of discussion, but not irritating to me personally. And you're right about boycotting them, it won't do much good. The Clippers are stuck with Sterling until he decides to sell.
