Vince wants to put kiBosh on Raptors' pick
Bosh has a lot of "onlys" about him. He is only 19, only 210 pounds, only spent one year in college, at Georgia Tech. He hopes to add 15-20 pounds to his 6-foot-11 frame prior to training camp in the fall.
As for a trade, the Raptors brain trust isn't talking that way. New coach Kevin O'Neill and general manager Glen Grunwald have both spoken effusively about their plans for Bosh. Which, of course, is what all coaches and GMs say in the early days after the draft.
Bosh, Carter and several other Raptors were to meet Monday for an informal workout in Bradenton. Next week, Bosh will play for the Raps' entry in the Los Angeles summer league.
Do you think that the Raps will listen to Vince? Do you think that Bosh should be dealt? Who would they get in return?

i think they should at least let Bosh play till Feb..if he can prove that he could make an instant impact like Stoudimire maybe they shouldn't trade him but if he needs to develope and his first couple of months he struggles then Raps should trade him

I don't see anything in that article that says Vince wanting to trade Chris Bosh?

"I would prefer to trade him and get a veteran," Carter said Friday at the Mainland reunion game at the Ocean Center. "We need to win right now, not in a couple of years. We need experience."

Vince Carter wasn't exactly gung-ho on his newest teammate, Chris Bosh, the No. 4 pick in the NBA draft last Thursday night.
"I would prefer to trade him and get a veteran," Carter said Friday at the Mainland reunion game at the Ocean Center. "We need to win right now, not in a couple of years. We need experience."

What's Vince problem anyway? Why is he acting up? Is he afraid that Bosh might make an instand impact or even take over the Raptors? Maybe, or maybe not...just a thought, because I see no reason for a player to be asking or telling GM's or whoever to deal or trade another player / teammate?

Raptors aren't a bad team. If only Vince wasn't injured so many times, they would of had a chance.

"Vince acting up"
he's never said something like this before, and suddenly he's afraid?
I think he got misquoted.

I agree. If he wasn't he's bound to say it again.

In any event, I don't think the Raptors should be dealing just yet. I feel if you get a player with the fourth pick of the draft, you should see what he's capable of before dealing him.

Vince has lost his game and now officially his mind.
this guy is getting comparisons to Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan, i mean come on!
from what ive seen of Bosh and from what ive seen of Wince lately, i'd trade Vince before Bosh.
man Wince Carter is the best nickname for Carter, hes crying about everything.
if raptors trade away Bosh for a Vet(30+) then there stupid. Bosh is only 19 and his best years are ahead of him.
personally i just think Wince is scared that Bosh is gonna take some of his thunder

if carter did make these comments, i applaud him. the guy wants to win now.
a fews years back, the raptors were one game away from the eastern conference finals. granted this was when carter didn't catch the injury bug and antonio davis was a good commodity. speaking of antonio davis, the raptors got him by trading high school stud Jonathen Bender for him. Bender got all these rave reviews but the only thing was he was a project.
and now toronto is in a similar situation. assuming that everyone comes back healthy and can stay healthy, toronto definitely has a great chance at making the playoffs. a talent like bosh can be traded for a solid veteran in the post, say like donyell marshall. an addition such as this would them a eastern conference powerhouse (and add a player like oakley to push carter).
speaking of crying...
