I noes. it is. I don't think right. It's too late at night and I have the flu. I'll blame it on that. I dunno why I don't root for them. It's indescribable. I like the Bulls franchise, just not really these players for whatever reason

i'd love a Pistons v Magic series simply because of the Darko situation....i'm thinking it'd be competitive, even if the end result isn't.

Bulls though too play Detroit hard, so i guess it'll be a good series either way.

They're 4-0 against the Bulls this year including a couple of big blowouts, though both those matchups came at a time where Gordon was being terribly misused. Still, it's likely to be a sweep or 4-1 at worst.

I have to admit, the Darko vs Detroit subplot would be interesting and one I wouldn't mind seeing if it didn't mean no playoffs for the Bulls.

Wow, amazing win by the Magic. They really have a monster trio in Nelson, Howard and Turkey Glue.

The Orlando Magic have so much young talent to rebuild around, but to make the playoffs this season would definitely be huge.

I just shit my pants thinking about how awesome Dwight Howard will become in the next few years.

i think the pistons could have a better chance against the bulls than against the magic. The magic have the low post force to make the series have one or two close games. I'd rather see a fun competition than the huge blowout, besides, how long has it been since the magic made the playoffs?

Honestly i think that Detroit will win 4-0 (maybe 4-1) with either Orlando or Chicago or Philly. But i really, really, really love the Magic for how they're playing.
I also love T-Mac, he's one of my favourite players, but his situation teach me, once again, that planning is the most important thing. Orlando was going to pick D.Howard with the 1st overall pick and all he was able to do was going to Houston for playing with a player (Yao) that, before the second part of this season, still had to prove himself as a Star.
Imagine what the Magics would be with T-Mac on the SG position...you may say that in this case maybe Darko would not have the opportunity to come to Orlando...but who knows, it's just my thought...

is tmac was there they'd be in trouble cause he will take shots away, get injuried, comeback, more shots, etc. Leaving Dwight Howard undeveloped in the process..

Also McGrady had said that he never gave it his all in his last seasons in Orlando and was playing only for stats. In addition to that, he also had a crummy back which to this day still bothers him. Its a shame all they could salvage of T-Mac's value was Francis (Ariza and Hardaway).

that's what happens with superstars are traded.. rarely works out well like when Grant Hill was traded. But we see Tmac, VC, Shaq... all traded for nothing near there value

It can't happen now, at least I think so. I heard after the Bulls game that they just knocked the Magic out of the playoffs.

Yes, but chicago will play against orlando tomorrow...so if chicago didn't win with miami, they could have been in troubles...i don't know which teams will pay against washington.

Best the Magic can do is win 38 and the Bull who have 8th seed have won 39... only Philadelphia can knock Washington out of the playoffs.

Damn, this sucks. I normally don't like Miami, but I really wanted them to win this game.

Freaking blowing off a 15 point lead too....

This is the stuff of flashbacks. Outside of Krause bashing amongst Bulls fans, I haven't seen so much dislike directed towards Chicago since 1998.

In the game the Magic won, both Wallaces were MIA down the stretch. They were beaten by an average of 10 points in the other two contests. In the two losses where Ben Gordon actually got to play 30 minutes and scored 20+, the games were close. Orlando has the better bigs to matchup with the Pistons but the advantage is still clearly in Detroit's favour and then you've got the backcourts. I think their chances are about the same, honestly. But as it stands, Chicago could avoid the 8th seed anyway.

As for the whole deserving to be in the playoffs because they haven't been there in a few years...I'm sorry, but that's complete rubbish. Nobody made that excuse during Chicago's playoff drought. Whoever can earn a playoff spot deserves it, it's as simple as that. If you can weather the storm and seize the opportunity when it comes along, you've earned the spot, you deserve it.

Its not that I dislike Chicago, its just that I wanted the Magic to get into the playoffs, so it was more about cheering for the Magic than actually hating on the Bulls.

Anybody who plays the first round against the pistons will be outmatched virtually everywhere... And i was rooting for the bulls last year, they made the playoffs, now i guess its time to root for a new team to make the playoffs.

I believe they call that bandwagoning.

As I said before, I personally believe in whoever earns a playoff deserves it, rather than everyone being a chance to have a turn at making the playoffs. If the Bulls were out of the playoffs, their failure would be in their own heads. If you want to make the playoffs, win as many games as possible. Easier said than done but it remains a simple principle.
