Owners are peices of shit.
And it's not every owner I hate. I respect Reinsdorf and Aurebach, and to a lesser extent Jerry Buss.

If you just hate mark cuban, okay, i understand that, i dont like him either. but i translated what you originally said into: all owners suck, and thats where my problem lies. if i got it wrong, then i apologize, but if not, which one is it.
the owners make it possible for the best athletes in the world to play in one league. Talent is relative, players are replacable as long as its not an instaneous turnover. The amount of money the owners invest makes sure that the talent isn't diluted by a poor talent pool.

I dont hate him in the same way I hate gays or abo's, but I hate the way he feuds with refs, great coaches and tries to put himself on the players level (running onto the court). I know he helped turned around Dallas (that was more Don Nelson and Michael Finely though) and bought them a new arena, but to me he is just the owner equivilent of Stephen A. Smith, when he argues with players. Who are they to really criticise NBA players(or refs/coaches) when it comes to the game? That would be like a high school maths/science teacher criticising Albert Einstien.
How is talent relative? If thats genuinely the case, why is Wilt and Oscar held in higher reard in many NBA fans than MJ and Kobe? The owners, in the grand scheme of things, dont invest all that much in terms of talent. Compare New York to Charlotte, compare the bankrolls and the amount of wins.
Now after comparing those, you tell me who is more important to the knicks? The owner, or the likes of Patrick Ewing, Willis Reed, Allan Houston etc.
