A lot of people don't like Laker fans because they're fake...they're fairweather fans. Most of them, anyway....look at all the stars that appear in Staples on game nights, just to be there. Half of them don't even realize there's a game going on, and then throw in the other ignorant fans (such as the guy with the van), and you have a team with millions of fans who don't care about the team and don't know any other players than Phil, Kobe, Shaq, Rick Fox (because of the hollywood connection), and Robert Horry (Because he saved their asses).

Why are Laker fans annoying? Because they have no idea who Brian Shaw or Janero Pargo or Mark Madsen is. They don't know the strengths and weaknesses, they just know "their team" has three rings, Shaq, Phil, and Kobe, and that they're winning.

The majority of Laker fans are the epitomy of band wagoners except they're ten times more arrogant. Bulls bandwagoners were NEVER this bad. They always say "I've been a Laker fan for so many years" as if we care how long they've been a fan...if they hop on the bandwagon and are intelligent about their team, learn about it, accept other peoples views in discussions (I'm talking non-internet here), and aren't dicks to everyone (several people on this board are great Laker fans ), then they're fans, no matter how long they've been following the team.

Mark Madsen: Straight Up hustler, with very little offensive capabilities. Can grab Offensive boards, but that is mainly due to hustle and hard work.
Gets Comparisons Kurt Rambis, who was a similar type player

Stanislav Medvedenko: Another Big European guy who can shoot the ball, doesnt have many post moves, but can step out and knock down the 15-18 footer. Doesnt get recognised by many due to his lack of playing. Playing time is limited coz he has no idea what to do on Defence.

Jannero Pargo: Can shoot the ball quite nicely, when given the time, could probably be a valuable 7th or 8th man for the Lakers in a few years. Hes a better shooter when he cathes and pulls up.

Kareem Rush: Said to be the best Sg in the draft at one stage, didnt have a very good rookie year, playing kobe bryant it was hard for him to get floor time. was origanlly drafted by the Raptors but then traded with Tracy Murray for Chris Jeffries and Lindsey Hunter. Is a pretty good shooter from the perimeter, and being Left-Handed gives him a slight advantage.

Derek Fisher: One of the key members for 2 of the 3 Lakers championships, was stuck on the bench in the 1999/2000 but still played quite well. The best 3pnt shooter on the Lakers side, shooting above 40% for the 2nd consecutive year, including a staggering .617% in this playoffs.
some people say he could average 15-20 a game but being the 3rd option by kobe and shaq, no-one will no for sure.

Brain Shaw: in his 13 year NBA career he has been with 7 teams, including 3 years alongside teamamte Shaquille Oneal with the Magic. Had a pretty good Sophomore year with the Celtics 13.8ppg 7.6apg 4.7rpg 1.3spg, but after that never averaged more than 9ppg. Did some good things for the Lakers in there title run. Can hit clutch shots at times. Better at stepping into a shot and catching it, rather than setting up or pulling up for a J. had a pretty neat all-round game early in his career, but is not shown due to many years playing as a 7th or 8th man.

Samaki Walker: A pretty decent player when given time, but at times, it looks like he doesnt know what hes doing, which is one of hte main reason Phil did not play him during the Playoffs.
Once pulled down 20 rebounds in a game.

Tracy Murray: A great shooter of the ball, was invlolved in the trade that borught Kareem Rush to LA. Was on that great Wizards/Bullets team back from 96-2000 and played quite well for them off the bench. In La he was the 3rd forward after Fox, and Geroge who took up all the time, so was another player sitting on pine most the time.

Devean George: The Lakers 6th man, who didnt really live up to his contract this year. Has a decent shot, but is Inconsistent which hurts his numbers and hurt the Lakers. Averaged in the high 20's in Augsberg, but wasnt noticed till Scouts saw him at some Tournament, where he impressed. most likely to start for the Lakers in the 2003/2004 year, due to Fox's injuries.

3. Phil Jackson's dumbass asterik champs comment. Their championships should read : 2000 - 2002 World Champions *with referee assistance.
4. The bandwagon fans... The ones who are all of the sudden "Spurs" fans.
5. The fact that Kobe is compared to Mike. HE IS NOT, NOR WILL HE EVER BE A GOOD AS MIKE. Mike got triple teamed and had to take shots. Kobe gets triple teamed and passes the ball to Shaq. Mike shot about 50% for his career. Kobe - about 44 - 45% just counting since his breakout year. Kobe - very good player. Mike - the G.O.A.T (greatest of all time).
6. Kobe being called the best two guard in the league - C'Mon with TMac out there, friggin AI(who takes 2 many shots, but just has so much damn heart), maybe even a (god forbid) HEALTHY Vince Carter(all of whom have no inside presence to pass to) Kobe is one of the four best two guards, not the best...
7. All the freakin cryin' - They cry when the refs actually make a call against them. They cry when a player gets injured. THEY CRY WHEN THEY LOSE! Suck it up punks! You won three championships. Stop all the f ing drama and grow up.
I like Shaq(cause he's a big dumbass kid), and I like Kobe cause he's so ill, but these guys are way to overhyped. They won when there was noone else to compete with a team loaded with talent. They finally ment a force to be reckoned with. Now that the league is finally starting to have some squads again, the Lake Show has the test of a true champion on them, COMPETETION. The Kings were the first team determined enough to challenge them, and it took a miracle for them to beat those guys. And ya, I've been a Spurs fan since Robinson and Sleepy Floyd ran the team, SO GO SPURS!

Well, I have to admit I used to hate Shaq back in Orlando, everyone who knows me for more than 10 years knows that. But what happens, as soon he became a Laker, there's more than one reason to love the guy. Knowing he's the biggest force in the league, don't think I was going to complain for having him on the squad. If your dad hates the Lakers, he never liked the Lakers, so that's not the real reason why he really hates them.

They aren't the unselfish finesse players of Magic and Kareem and Wilt, they aren't the same as they were.

Not a real reason to hate the Lakers since they have to change players and are supposed to find the way of winning. The way they used to be? are we talking about Showtime? well, Van Exel brought those memories, we had EJones & Ceballos together with ECampbell & Divac but the squad didn't win. It's good to entertain everyone without getting the championships but it's better to win the championships, that's why we had to get some help from the big guy.

Lakers know of course about their bench, that's why we know other teams are better, but notice they are not consistent as other teams have consistent players coming from the bench. I told you before I was not saying the way was easy for the Lakers since I knew & understood other teams had better squads. However, notice that the situation about not caring or mentioning a lot about those would be the same in every team, Piston fans didn't know or mention T. Prince until he started playing like a star now in the playoffs. Now, they might give him more playing time next year. That shouldn't be the real reason why Laker fans annoy you, the only reason why you get annoyed is because you were not a Lakers fan and you hated to see Lakers partying. That happens to everyone, the Bulls were doing the same, smoking, giving each player an individual trophy, making parades, you see that everywhere, you can't hate others for having fun.

Of course we know our strengths & weaknesses and we accept it, but you have to know that even there were weaknesses, they were winning. Let's suppose your coach doesn't like the way you shoot the ball, as far as you are hitting those shots nobody cares until you start missing them.

Let's see, the only reason many of those are lopped into the "hater" group is because they accept they dislike Kobe cause he's compared to Michael, so wouldn't that be a good reason to make the statement?. My statement about those who don't like the Lakers now & liked it before is cause every real fan would like their team winning, no matter how. You won't find a real Pistons fan who didn't like the way they were playing when the bad boys were smacking/punching/kicking everyone around but winning the championships.

I used to dislike the way Shaq plays but once again, that was before he joined the squad. I don't think any real Laker Fan is going to complain when they are winning, or care that Shaq humiliates other, if Shaq was playing for the Spurs, I don't think you would have seen a Spurs fan not loving the way Shaq plays.

I don't even remember what I wrote on live.org because that was the only time I felt like visiting a second rate live site.
