And they say games that allow you to plunder towns and live the life of a pirate captain aren't educational. Actually, the instruction booklet contains a fairly good history of pirates in the 1500s and 1600s, as well as a number of facts and figures. Though I wouldn't use it as sole research material for an exam.

when i still lived in Europe they had 2 or 3 games per week + i'd gut a game on FTA as well which was good. The owners of the Polish Channel 2 were big bball fans so they always had lots of bball, they even played the NBA Finals live @ 2 in the mornin..........ooooh the good days :D

The official NBA broadcast rights belong to the Solar Sports Channel (on cable) - and according to NBA Kume, David Stern, among the international broadcasters Solar has signed the longest contract with the NBA so far- So I think we get live games every play date :) Although I'm not very sure about this, as I only start watching religously during the playoffs.

Plus there's ESPN Asia and Star Sports Asia.

'Though if you don't have cable, you will still get to watch most of the games broadcast from the Solar Sports channel ( replays are available at a regular non-cable channel ) but you will only get to see it during prime time. Not live (which is usually around 8-11 am here) Unless it's the playoffs, when the non cable channel also broadcasts games live.

Hehe, lucky us eh? You guys won't believe how big basketball is here. Some government officials have even tried to ban televisions in public establishments (bars, restaurants etc...) from showing NBA games because it was learned that most government employees would rather watch the playoffs than go to work. hehe.
