this reminds of the last time this came up... my suggestion was Charlotte Speed :oops:

... or the Charlotte Whorenets

But since neither of those made it to the final three, I'd probably go with Flight. I thought they could have come up with something more creative...

How about Charlotte Cougars.
There once was an ABA Team Carolina Cougars.

Cougars is better than these suggestions.

I think an animal that everyone including childern can cheer for is the best idea.

I'm probably mistaken, but isn't bobcat another name for a cougar? If so, then it's probably a throwback to the Carolina Cougars.

Flight won't make too much sense on their jersey (what are they gonna put, a picture of the Wright brothers and their plane?) Dragons sound and look better.
