Who is a shooting guard, with the initials S.S and wears Adidas? And no it's not Steve Smith.
Sun May 04, 2003 7:47 pm
Hmm...You?
Sun May 04, 2003 7:48 pm
Stephan Smith?

It can't be anybody in the NBA. Steve Smith is the only player with the initials S.S.
Sun May 04, 2003 8:50 pm
either it's (De)Shawn Stevenson, or you are mistake Stro Swift for a SG
Sun May 04, 2003 8:53 pm
Forgot about Stro.

But since it's a shooting guard, it still can't be anyone in the NBA if it's not Steve Smith. I was partly right.

I had also thought about non-NBA players, but I don't know any of those so..
Maybe Stevan means journalist Sam Smith hehe

Shea Seals is a former NBA player, though he doesn't strike me as one who would have a shoe deal. That wouldn't prevent him from wearing them though.

Sofoklis Schortsianitis
hes a Power forward in greece lol
Steven "headache" Smith
he was a shooting guard in college and was the guy in that game fixing scandal.
thats all i can think of that arent mentioned.

I just looked at the players list on NBA.com and the only guy with the intials S.S is Steve Smith. He is a SG who as far as I know wears Adidas.
So it's obviously not an NBA player. Can we have more hints?
Sun May 04, 2003 11:40 pm
lmao...
It's a tough one isn't it? Is everyone expecting me to have the answer? Because I don't
I bought some shoes, Basketball shoes, just for some casual use, and they have "SS2G" written in small letters somewhere across the front. I figured the 2G stood for "Two Guard" or "Shooting Guard", and the SS would be someones initials. I guess Steve Smith is the only one, but I dunno if he wears addidas, and whether he could wear red & white shoes with the black and white Spurs uniform
Maybe SS2G doesn't stand for anything. Either way, thanks for trying
....damn I just realised this should pry be in General Talk...

adidas has named a few of their shoes 2g, like the promodel 2g. So it probably just has to do with that.
