With the West as strong as it is now, if I were the Hornets I'd elect to stay in the East until 2004/2005 when the new Charlotte franchise enters the league.

Meanwhile, Minnesota might give the East a team that could stack up against most teams from the West - after all, they are used to playing the Western Conference kind of game, and matching up with the size of the West.

I hope the Hornets moving West makes Magloire feel more away from home and makes him elect to demand a trade to the Raptors

The Hornets are probably the team in the East that has most chance to get in the playoffs in the West, along with maybe New Jersey and the Pistons.
