Okay, I just want to take a poll for those of you who want the Wizards or the Bucks to make the playoffs (sorry Knicks fans).

I voted for the Wizards. I'd like to see what MJ could do in his last playoffs participation.

I voted for the Wizards, but if they don't make it, they can just settle for 9th place.

This is tough for me. Gary Payton has been my favorite player for like forever. But I know that if the Bucks do well, which they can, and go far, then GP will stay for, when I want him to go to a different team.

And now we have Michael Jordan. The GOAT. He's my second favorite player in the league and I really want him to be in. The Wizards, at their best, are one of the best in the East, but they're in some type of funk or something. Maybe it's good that they're finally coming home.

It's a shame that both teams can't make it.

I want the wizards to make for the same reason as gloveguy. GP should leave and go to another team, unless Milawukee trades sammy for another player, maybe a center? Then again I've never heard of a 6'1'' pg for a C without something else being involved. Maybe Ervin Johnson + Sammy for a good Center and a backup PG.

The Wizards are 2.5 games behind the Bucks. Milwaukee has 4 games left on their schedule, while Washington has 7. Even if the Wizards go 7-0 from now on, the Bucks would have to go no better than 2-2.

If the Bucks were to go 0-4, then the Wizards would still have to do no worse than 5-2 over their last 7 (since Milwaukee has the advantage in a tiebreaker situation). The Wizards schedule from here on is as follows:

6 Sun @ Boston 1:00 pm -- ABC
8 Tue @ Cleveland 7:00 pm CSN DTV
9 Wed Boston 7:00 pm CSN DTV
11 Fri @ Miami 8:00 pm CSN DTV
12 Sat Atlanta 7:00 pm WB50/CN8 DTV
14 Mon New York 7:00 pm CSN NBATV
16 Wed @ Philadelphia 7:00 pm CSN ESPN

5-2 is not unfathomable, but by no means guaranteed. Meanwhile, Milwaukee's final 4 games will be:

9 Wed L.A. Clippers 7:00 pm UPN 24 DTV
11 Fri @ Toronto 6:00 pm UPN 24 DTV
13 Sun Indiana 2:00 pm -- --
16 Wed Orlando 7:00 pm FSN DTV

While nothing is guaranteed there either, the Bucks could probably win at least two of those game, which would mean the Wizards would have to achieve the seemingly impossible (7-0). But if Milwaukee wins three or four...the Wizards could go 0-7 for all it matters.

Both teams play their final games April 16th at 7:00 pm...the stage could be set for a dramatic conclusion. But first, the Wiz must snap the losing streak and make their run.
