Iam ok with Mike Brown as head coach, he will have a new off system which if iam honest Thibs was getting stale and running our players into the ground 40+ minutes doesn't help neither our starters of our young players.

I love the summer signing we have made too. I dont think Precious will back now with the French man coming from Philly and also Jordan Clarkson is huge for knicks bench but also the rookies from last year plus the french rookie we got this year that looked good in summer league really could be a great roster overall

I hear the knicks are interested in bringing Ben Simmons and I have to say iam all on board with that move, low risk high reward talent now at this point

Knicks add Chris Jent to Mike Browns coaching staff.

Il be interested to see what this same team looks like under new leadership.

Fun fact about Chris Jent that I saw on Twitter: in addition to being a champion with the Houston Rockets in 1994 - and a former NBL player here in Australia, for that matter - he has more career Playoff games than career regular season games.

As someone with family and friends in Australia (yourself including Andrew) ive always paid attention to the NBL over the years and used to own a Sydney Kings team signed ball including the great Shane Heals signature after I believe the 2003 title.

I'd have to Google as well but I could of swarn that Chris Jent played in preseason I 96 with Scott Brooks the year we drafted John Wallace and Walter McCartey

Edit - according to Google Jent played one year in the 96/97 season, nba coverage wasn't great in the UK so other than maybe 10+ pontels i bought that year plus the odd knicks game i caught on tv i only saw Jent (and Brooks) play in one pre season game.

That's right, that was his last NBA stint: three games with the 1997 Knicks. It's funny how we remember these players, but I love it.

Pontel mate! That's where my memories come from probably watching a game 20+ plus times as a 15 year old (1996) lol

Iconic! Still need to watch the ones I picked up as a treat for my 40th last year. Admittedly a couple of them are games I've seen before and just wanted to have on DVD rather than VHS, but I'm nevertheless overdue to re-watch some classic hoops.

I really need to try and get my hands on another vhs player again, my mum found a box of old pontel videos when she moved house close to 2 years ago, back in the day other than knicks games i would like to get pontels of the team I was using in franchise mode so the year there from is the 2002/3 season and i used the Pre LeBron Cavs and Pre Melo Nuggets.

Iam pretty sure that one of the cavs games was Ricky Davis's famous "triple double" game

I still have a VCR, but it's been a while since I tried hooking it up. Fingers crossed it still works!

Yeah fingers crossed mate!

There are 2 things id like to reown when the time is right, a vhs tape player and a ps2 again so I can play classic nba lives. I kept nba live 2001 and 06 from the last time I picked up a ps2 a couple of years ago but unforseen circumstances meant I had to give up the ps2 and 4 but slowly but surely il get back what I had just like the knicks will get back to the finals lol
