RIP Jerry West

NBA icon and Hall of Famer Jerry West passes away at 86

It's been a tough few weeks for losing former NBA greats. Bill Walton, Chet Walker, and now The Logo himself, "Mr. Clutch" Jerry West. 86 is a good innings, but it's still sad to lose another legend...and another reminder to appreciate them while they're still here. RIP.

A legend as a player AND an executive. IMO, he and Kobe are tied at #2 as the greatest shooting guards in NBA history. I still remember that shot he hit against the Knicks in 1970.

You're right about losing the legendary players we grew up watching, Andrew. Willie Mays just passed.

Such an iconic moment! And of course, funny to think that just a decade later, it'd be a game-winner thanks to the three-point line.
