Sacramento Kings forward Zach Randolph was reportedly arrested in Los Angeles on Wednesday night for possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
According to TMZ Sports, Randolph was one of three people who were detained as part of a rowdy scene that saw six cop cars get vandalized.
TMZ Sports added that Randolph was believed to have intent to sell due to the large amount of marijuana allegedly in his possession.
Now why the hell would you want to make those few extra bucks when you already get a paycheck of $12 million a year? That's very ignorant of him to be honest.

So much for him being a good role model for the young guys, and leaving the knuckle-headed stuff in the past.

Damn Memphis, you guys were good for Z-Bo.
Why you gotta tarnish your image after years of rebuilding it Z-Bo? I stuck up for you man.

I think on Reddit I saw that they automatically charge you with that if you have more than a certain amount on you. So he may have not been trying to actually sell anything.

Yeah there's a certain amount that when you're above that, they don't consider it for personal use so they assume you're dealing. But I guess it's plausible if you have enough money, you could buy a lot for yourself and your friends or for a party

There's probably a good chance that that's what's happened here.

Well, then.
The Kings released a statement indicating they have no further comment at this time. On top of waiting to see what happens next, I assume they're currently weighing their options.

Rumors that he could catch the ban hammer like OJ Mayo

Most likely, that'd effectively end his NBA career. Might delay the Grizzlies' plans, too.

Who needs the NBA when you have the Beijing Shougang Ducks ready to empty their pockets for you, lol?

The Grizzlies' plans to retire his jersey. I imagine if there's any kind of ban similar to O.J. Mayo's, even if Randolph retired tomorrow, they'd probably hold off on the ceremony until the suspension is through.

“It seems to be — no matter who you are — the bigger the paycheck, the bigger the party,” Sheed says.
“I know for a fact he ain’t no dope dealer.”
Sheed agrees, he just has a lot of money so what do you do? Buy a lot of weed.

Fair point. If anyone knows about these matters, it's Rasheed Wallace.
