Kwame Brown hopes to make NBA comeback

Kwame Brown has been gone from the NBA for a few years, but he's looking to make a comeback.

The top overall pick in the 2001 NBA Draft has signed with Interperformances, a sports agency, in the hope of getting back into the league, the agency announced Monday.

He's probably got a better shot than Derek Fisher, at least.

Guess what? Yi is coming again 15 pounds heavier and shooting like Curry, and euro rookies have chosen to begin their journey, Zhou Qi is getting ready for the "Hype-station",
and Baron Davis is in the D-League

Davis essentially got cut from the D-League last year lol

Much like when Antoine Walker tried the same thing and they tried to get him to leave voluntarily in his second season.

The parent teams don't have time for that shit anymore, go to China.

Yi actually worked on the flaws that were busting up his game when he really had no need to. Shame he's 38.

I thought it might be, but I was also wondering if it was just a joke about it being too late for him to make an impact in the league, or perhaps speculation that he's older than he claims. I can't remember if that was ever an issue that came up.

I also wondered if it was a case of DOB not really known as he may of lived in some remote part of China but that's normally only a difference of a year or two on the cases I've heard of in the passed but 10 years is a bit extreme lol

During the draft process they discovered that he was 2 years older than he was saying so he would be seen as more of a commodity

I'm one of the guys that thought Kwame became a solid bench BIG later on. He put on quite a bit of size and was really physical down low, you heard some of the chirps about how bad he was go away because he had accepted his role as a role player, and was doing it pretty well.

He held steady at 10-11 RPG per 36 minutes, as well as roughly around 2 BPG and over 50% from the field for multiple seasons, that is good production. I think that if he stayed in shape (or even slimmed down SLIGHTLY) he could help some teams.

In the Playoffs in 05-06 he averaged about 13 PPG and 6 RPG, and shot about 52% from the field in 32 mpg.

Being a major Iverson fan, I was kind of hoping this panned out in 2013

http://www.espn.com/dallas/nba/story/_/ ... ources-say

It would have been nice to see Iverson on the court one more time. But, his game relied so much on quickness and finishing at the rim, it would have been tough for him to be anything like his younger self. I still think he would have been a good contributor.

I just miss Iverson in the league :(
