The Knicks and Bulls have agreed to a deal that will send former All-Star point guard Derrick Rose to New York, sources told ESPN.

The Knicks are sending center Robin Lopez, guard Jose Calderon and guard Jerian Grant to Chicago, which is shipping guard Justin Holiday, Rose and a 2017 second-round pick back to New York, sources said.

No real complaints here. I've been comfortable with the idea of trading him for a while now, and that's a fairly solid deal for a player whose value is nowhere near what it used to be.

whole knicks franchise after van gundy is one big joke, every trade or draft move was turrible(kristaps was blind luck). Check Rose stats, he literally stopped attacking the rim and his mid and 3p % is tuuuuurrrible. It wont be better with Melo as a teammate. We have no idea about Grant, because all of those young players in New York were forced to play triangle.

The upside is that Rose is an expiring contract. If he doesn't work out in New York, he's gone after next season...or facilitates another trade at the deadline.
