Same thing I said above. I like Corymach so I can try I guess. Beer wid me.

Pick up the phone, work some magic to bring in Spoeltra in the cheaper way Clippers went after Doc. Wade will follow eventually because Riley has vision for Whiteside and Durant in Miami. Elfrid, Knight, Hawes, Young, Noel and you have room for Wade and Lin. Even better let's turn Hawes and Turner into crowder and Koufos(or Aminu, Isaiah, Speights, Ross, be fun and imaginative here). VOILA bon appetite! This is year where there is only 2 real teams and everyone else with those two teams residing in west. 76ers have a real shot! Good riddance, gimme a call if any of you owns a NBA team, I am the best GM you can get for potatoe wedges and budweiser.

Funk Hinkology.

Not sure where you're getting Knight from other than assuming you're getting him for MCW, but your solution is apparently to somehow lure away a coach with a multi-year contract and front office positions promised to him who will then bring along a aging star player on the cheap who's never left his franchise despite multiple opportunities. (And avoid the tampering charges that the league slapped on the Clippers.) Then you trade a resigned to stupid bucks, Evan Turner and Spencer Hawes for recently signed players by teams that presumably want them or Terrence Ross. And you've also given big bucks to Thaddeus Young. (Which is why you can't pay Lin and Wade much.) And this team is a "contender."

"work some magic" indeed

I bet Hinkie never once thought about getting on the phone to just WORK SOME MAGIC. He could have just bypassed the whole "the team is garbage with no assets" phase.
