2016 NBA Draft predictions

Postby Corymach7 on Wed Nov 11, 2015 12:03 am

Since the season is underway and the mock draft of 2016 is in, my projections is this for the 2016 draft top 9:

1. Ben Simmons - LSU to BOS (Like the experts say, he is the best prospect)
2. Nigel Hayes - Wisconsin to PHI (The 76ers need a SG and not another PF since they recently drafted Jahlil Okafor and Nigel is originally a SG when a freshmen and sophomore)
3. Isaiah Briscoe - Kentucky to NO (Jrue Holiday is getting injured a lot, so New Orleans needs a rising PG)
4. Malik Newman - Mississippi State to PHI (The 76ers need a PG to replace Tony Wroten as Wroten isn't that good)
5. Jamal Murray - Kentucky to SAC (Rajon Rondo isn't himself anymore, so the Kings are going to need a PG as well)
6. Damian Jones - Vanderbilt to ORL (The Magic need a big man to back up for Vucevic)
7. Furkan Korkmaz - Turkey to CHA (The Hornets needs a SG to start)
8. Jacob Poeltl - Utah to BOS (Good backup for Tyler Zeller, unlike Kelly Olynyk)
9. Domantas Sabonis - Gonzaga to IND (The Pacers need a very good PF like David West used to be)

To be fair, this is something that's often wondered about a fair way in advance; consider the mock Drafts on sites like DraftExpress and NBADraft.net. Focus on the topic at hand, not the person who created the thread, or an opinion you disagree with.

I am not saying this thread is worthless in fact it's ok. What I'm saying is that I think that Corymach7 has reallly awkward ideas and thougts :)

PS I won't reply to this thread since I still didn't "scouted" this years class. All I know is that Ben Simmons wilk be 1st pick and I know couple of names :)

Because they are bound for the lottery according to how the season is going.

Wow. Who the fuck is Korkmaz? Wtf. There should be a committee that decides if corymach's post is worthy of being posted here. Sorry but the Lakers will pick either Simmons or Brown. You had one correct guess out of a thousand, stop being delusional.
Rest In Peace Kobe

Don't undersell corymach and his prophecy. He was boldly the only one in this forum to predict Warriors' loss. :applaud:

Lest we forget, a stopped watch is right twice a day.

In all seriousness though, mock drafts are traditionally based on the current standings, with the assumption that the results of the lottery will line up with the number of chances each team will have, if the lottery were held tomorrow. Of course, it doesn't usually work out exactly that way, but it makes the least amount of new assumptions.
